His entire purpose is to die.

Personally, I think Reks would have been a much better main character than Vaan.

Your mother/father/brother/sister/grandparent/third-cousin-twice-removed, etc who dies/gets sick/disappears at the beginning of almost every RPG that comes out nowadays.

Carmine from gears 2 was good, your dog in fable 2, Captain Picard...I mean emporer Uriel Septim


and theres 2 carmine brothers left, so either they both die or one lives, and if just one is in the next game, i guarentee that there will be a fourth gears

Watch the spoilers... Red shirts are not characters that just die, but ones that die early, at the very sight of danger so to speak.
