That game NEEDS to be remade. It wasn't finished when it was made for PS1 and IMO it is one of the best RPG's of all time. Imagine how good it could be if they remade it and finished the game instead of how they had to throw together the second disc?

you don't remake good games, you take games that did poorly and had many faults and improve and fix those problems, resulting in a good game which came out of a bad one.

As much as I would love that being a fan since Blood Omen, I think remakes are more or less a waste of time when something new could be made.

Silent Hill 2
A classic, but could use better voice acting, slightly better dialogue (for Eddie at least) and maybe an improved control system, so its more accessible to those deprived of Silent Hill, and get to experience it.

That's the exact reason it shouldn't be remade, that's a lot of people to piss off if you change anything about the way it's played.

Not to mention they will try to tie it in with all the new FFVII based games, which caused a clusterfuck of continuity problems and plot holes up thw wazoo.

If they were important to the plot, they would have been mentioned in the original game, which I would like to stay as is because I enjoy what it was. Not what all this new stuff has made it.

It's more to show the awesomeness of said games to the current gen gamers, oh how deprived many of them are. No point trying to get them to play it, if it isnt HD and "teh best grphix evar" they won't dare go near it and they need to be taught what a truly great game is.
