The Legend of Dragoon and Final Fantasy VII. A remake of either title would perk my interest enough to actually give a damn about console gaming and buy a PS3.
Yeah, that's what I was alluding to. Except I chose an even more ridiculous example because of how child-friendly Banjo and Kazooie are (save for Kazooie's occasional sexual innuendo).J03bot said:Hasn't that at least partially been done in Conker's Bad Fur Day? Which, for the record, was awesome.AvsJoe said:We need a remake of Banjo-Kazooie.
But we need it to appeal to the 15-18 year old demographic so an M-rated, gritty reboot is in order...

Could you tell me what was so amazing about System Shock 2? (and why the series was so amazing? I've never played them, only heard of them a couple of years ago)iggyus said:Metal Gear Solid 1, Morrowind, System Shock 2... take your pick
Yup! I'd also like to see a remake of Link to the Past, like an actual remake not a port like they did with the GBATheNamlessGuy said:The first Zelda.
Because, you know, in 3D, it'd be awesome
definitely 007 but not on the Wii, it'd be shit then, and NO FF7, frigging game is overratedomega_peaches said:Goldeneye 007
Final Fantasy 7 (Just to make them shut up)
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
To shadow of the collosus yes and no, it was perfect on the PS2 and its not old enough, but I have to be honest i would love a remake, and to Silent Hill Shattered memories it was worse then all those, come on, no weapons? pffft, not even worth a rentMar451 said:Final Fantasy 7, i mean come on, just imagine fighting Sephiroth in full HD graphics of the PS3
American McGee's Alice, improve the combat system though
Ico and Shadow of the Collosus, make the frame rate better and get some HD in there!
Also, an actual remake of Silent Hill that isnt on the wii? Shattered Memories was better then Homecoming and Origins and The Room, but only just.
Did you even read what I posted?Quiet Stranger said:definitely 007 but not on the Wii, it'd be shit then, and NO FF7, frigging game is overratedomega_peaches said:Goldeneye 007

Fair enough, I just think Square ahs the potential to so much more. I wouldn't mind seeing another Project Sylpheed game so long as the work on the hud and controls a bit more.Snotnarok said:As true as it may be because Square is backwoods retarded now (though I thought Crisis Core was pretty okay) I'd still like to see it done. Even still I'd probably still hug my original even closer haha.chozo_hybrid said:That's the exact reason it shouldn't be remade, that's a lot of people to piss off if you change anything about the way it's played.Snotnarok said:Final Fantasy VII- too many people demand it, so it should be done
Not to mention they will try to tie it in with all the new FFVII based games, which caused a clusterfuck of continuity problems and plot holes up thw wazoo.
If they were important to the plot, they would have been mentioned in the original game, which I would like to stay as is because I enjoy what it was. Not what all this new stuff has made it.
I'm gonna sound angry for a moment, but not at you. As neat as Project Sylpheed is, it was the death of my beloved Silpheed saga, the ONLY vertical shooter series that I enjoyed. I think there was only 3 of them before Square acquired the series and stomped it's stupid characters and ideas over a fantastic series. I didn't want a bloody story I wanted to shoot crap in the grazeon system. Preferably Zakarte.chozo_hybrid said:Fair enough, I just think Square ahs the potential to so much more. Topaz squadron I miss you already!
Yes I did (and wasn't 007 made by rare? (when i sat 007 Im referring to Goldeneye) so I dont think there could be a remake) and what was so good about FF7? other then that it was the first 3D FFomega_peaches said:Did you even red what I posted?Quiet Stranger said:definitely 007 but not on the Wii, it'd be shit then, and NO FF7, frigging game is overratedomega_peaches said:Goldeneye 007

Also, it seems like you are just saying "YOUR OPINION IS BAD BECAUSE I SAY T WOULD BE BAD!"
yea me too!Sonicron said:The Soul Reaver games. How I would love to see Nosgoth and its inhabitants in modern-day graphics... *sigh*
I hear they're planning on doing something sort of like this for Doom 4, at least gameplay-wise. Instead of being scary, they're going for all-out action and thing-killing.All Hail Lelouch said:I believe that a remake of the classic Doom is in order.
