Resident evil 1+2, crash bandicoot, morrowind with better coombat.
Didn't Resident Evil 1 already have a remake? With one of the differences being the intro of that scary and unkillable Lisa Trevor?
There was a remake in 2002 for gamecube. And maybe for the wii , not sure, both consoles that i do not own.Nothing for pc or xbox/ps.

I know it already has a remake but Conker's Bad Fur Day. If not that, then the old Turok games with less shit controls and smoother gameplay in general

I honestly can't think of any movie remakes I'd like to see without the immediate fear of it becoming a big, bland PG13 3D CGI fest.
What about a big, bland R 3D CGI fest?

OT: I know it's a bit weird to think about this, but I would not mind seeing a remake of Witchblade... Well, mostly in movie form... It will showcase the backstory around the witchblade while showcasing a [sexy] female lead learning to live with this curse until her... uh... "departure", I should say... Do I expect this remake to be a cinematic masterpiece? Do I expect it to be just an excuse to show a lot of "T & A" during most all of the fight sequences? I wouldn't doubt it... However, if it can still tell the story of this weapon that is only "bestowed" on females while simultaneously making us care about our female "protagonist" outside of the "sex appeal", I would be a remake I would watch... when it comes out "unrated" on Blu-Ray... (That's just me saying that it wouldn't be shown in theaters without editing stuff out...)

The movie was, well, in a word...BAD.

I'd love to see a proper movie be made.
Something like a trilogy a 'book' should do it.

Yesssssss. Conker's Bad Fur Day so much. But only if they keep the original multiplayer modes. Was so pissed off when the Xbox remake didn't include them

Another one I want is HD Majora's Mask on the Wii U. Please Nintendo, make it happen already...
Also DK64.

Saints Row 1, the story was great, but the gameplay was absolute garbage. I'm a huge fan of the games 2 and on...but holy hell I could not force myself to play 1 through to the end.
Seconded! The only problem is Michael Clarke Duncan, he's sort of... incompacitated. Wouldn't feel right without him. But I would like to see the original redone with the character customiser and maybe the Boss before they became, a boss.

The series could also use some grounding at this point, Hell they even had time travel in SR4, whos to say the boss can't go back in time to their SR days.

Morrowind. It has the most amazing setting, atmosphere, plot, and so forth, such that I regularly have a strong desire to just create a character and jump into Vvardenfell for a while. However, the game engine/system is so atrociously bad that I seldom ever do (even after modding the game to make things somewhat better). A remake with a good engine would be a dream come true ...

... oh wait.

Yeah, that, that thing they're making already right there. Not an official remake, sure, but good enough for me! Not that it'll be finished for a few years at least, probably ... and then it'll take longer to get the major bugs out ... but hey, it's a lot closer to my remake dream coming true than most remake dreams ever get!

I want to see another Redwall cartoon series, preferably with an actual budget and attention to detail. Hell, have the Avatar/Legend of Korra people make it; it would awesome.

EDIT: There is one thing I'd love to see carry over from the original Nelvana animated series; Tim Curry should reprise his role as Slagar the Cruel. That casting decision was probably the one thing that series really did right.

I want an HD remake of the original Spyro the Dragon games, goddammit! I'm sick of all this Skylander bullshit! (I hear it's a good game, but I really want to see some classic Spyro.)

Also, even though this is an anime/manga I don't like, I would like to see a remake to Elfen Lied, with updated (by that I mean good) animation, that follows the manga closer, Brotherhood-style, because at least I'll like it slightly better than the original anime (Unless they keep that dumbass epilogue.)

Can we please get a Syndicate reboot? And no, I don't mean that godawful piece of FPS shite that was released a few years ago, I mean a honest to god evil MegaCorp management game, where you control and outfit your cyborg-agents and send them to assassinate your rivals our protect your bussiness interests wth the ultimate goald to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! (cue evil laughter)

No, I mean, seriously game devs, would that be so terribly difficult to accomplish?
A Kickstarter is already attempting to do so.

What if it was already a big bland CGI fest in the first place?

World War Z was a massive let-down, sure the swarming zombies in the trailer were good but the novel it was based off had so much potential as a multi-part fictional documentary series.

I never understood this sentiment. Why does the show need a film? The show has the show.

I understand people wanting a non-visual format to go visual but why take a complete animated series and make live action films for it, isn't the series enough?

Well, then there's no need to remake it at all. :p

The original metal gear games for the MSX2. I think those games are worth another look. but just dont make Kojima do the whole thing, just refer to him for art and character design, he needs to concentrate on making NEW games.

A Redwall series made with actualy heart would really be a great thing to stick on television, one with a little bit of the violence found in the books as well. So it will appeal to slightly older kids and garner some interest for the books. It's a shame Brian Jacques isn't alive to narrate it.

How about the original Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain? Granted, I still like it, but this bloodfest celebration of Kain's earlier days deserves to join its 3D cousins.
I was going to mention that. Blood Omen is impossible to find unless you emulate, yet it is pretty important in understanding any of the other games. It also aged pretty badly so go ahead I say.

Morrowind Morrowind Morrowind Morrowind! that game was hell lot of fun to play except for the fight mechanics and the graphics that game was top notch. If they remade it in HD that would be awesome.

OH! I have another one: Gamera. And before anyone says anything, A FUCKING GOOD ONE 'CAUSE GAMERA THE BRAVE WAS SHIT! I want a return to form after the Guardian of the Universe trilogy because those were fucking sweet. Especially Gamera 3, which was a rare case of the third movie being the best.

I would quite like a remake of 1984. I didn't really like the movie, and I loved the book. I think it could now be made into a fantastic sci-fi film, I just think it may hit too close to home. V for Vendetta was a pretty good 1984-esque movie, though.

I would also say Animal Farm, but that actually is getting a movie soon, directed by Andy Serkis, so I am looking forward to that.

In terms of games, I'd quite enjoy HD remakes of the earlier Command & Conquer games. For the first 2, there's OpenRA, but they don't have the singleplayer campaigns. I'd like the gameplay to remain the same, just nice, high resolution graphics, and better quality cutscenes. It'll never happen, though. Seems the series is pretty much dead, sadly.

Dungeon Keeper, for me.

Was amazing, came out like 15 years ago and it was just fantastic.

In terms of films, I reckon the Darren SHan film adaptation could have been much, much better.

The remake I always think about is The Vision of Escaflowne, with a much bigger budget and 39 episodes long as it was originally meant to be. The series is great, but there's so much to expand upon as well.

If System Shock 3 will never be made (and likely to be so) at least give us a graphical update of System Shock 2. Tweak some of the skills here and there, but leave the rest of it alone, and you have a fantastic horror game.
