Replaying old titles

Replaying Fallout 1 after getting annoyed at 2 and 3. Best RPG ever.

I have to say, compared to the 2nd one...I enjoyed the first one so much more. Its just so much easier to get into. I felt very overwhelmed when I first started playing the 2nd one. I recently started the 2nd one up again as well, but I had gotten the 3rd one and now I can't be bothered with the 2nd until I beat the 3rd =P

yea i finished replaying deus ex 1 like a month or so ago, great friggin game, and last night i jus finished replaying the original half life, and im taking a break from replaying HL: Opposing Force, and im planning on playing Blue Shift after. (waiting for HL2:ep3 hahaha)

So I recently returned to the Elder Scrolls Morrowind. I picked up the platinum version for xbox a while back for a really good price and thought i'd try it. The game basically kicked my butt, so I gave it up.

Thankfully I on a whim put it into my 360 to see if it would boot up and when it did I actually started to get into it. I'm totally enjoying it.

I'm going through Deus Ex 1 and System Shock 2.

What OS are you using for SS2? I tried to go back and play it on an XP system some years back but I could never make it stable.

I'm using XP with SP 3, and it works fine for me.

Operation Winback was such an awesome game. I never owned it but I used to play it with a mate. Was sooo cool. Anyway, as I have a Wii, it's very cool to download tons of games on the Virtual Console. I've had so much fun playing the original MegaMans, Donkey Kong Country 1 + 2, original Metrois, Sonic for Mastersystem, Golden Axe. The list goes on and on but the memories and entertainment never gets boring.

EDIT: The only problem is there are a few 'greats' that absolutely NEED to be added, but Nintendo aren't releasing them for legal issues etc. I speak mainly of Perfect Dark. If they released that on VC, my life would be complete.

I can't get tired of Doom ! I still have so much fun playing this one.

Also, with a friend we love to play Crash Team Racing, the best Mario-Kart like we've ever played !

Damn right mate!, my brother's a little too good at Doom and knows every level inside-out, and as for CTR, i still have the occasional match with my Dad, brother and mate, i re-bought it from the PSN recently

I've just finished Homeworld 2 and Myth 2. AGAIN. God, these games are good. Two oldies that actually never got old.

My version of 2 is buggy so there's no music and I can't alter the battle speed, this combined with the games unforgiving difficulty makes it virtually unplayable. And 3 whenever I play it a horde of petty annoyances slowly overwhelm me until I quit in a fit of rage.

Diablo 2, UFO Alien invasion (X-Com)... even lemmings 2 for some explosive fun... and most of all, Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Mods make it amazing.
