Do you reply Single player alot? when i played RDR 1st time i hated it and didn't care for it, but then playing while PSN is down i have really enjoyed the game the story and the dialogue are great. I dont know why i over looked it but this play through im trying to go for 100%

When i beat Dragon Age 2 i replayed it straight away i just wanted to see the different conversations that happen when i was a jerk.

what do you like to do Replaying Single Player?
Do you find it more enjoyable then you did the first time?
Do you Replay Often?

I don't like MMOs and I rarely play multiplayer so most of my games consist of single player and I replay them a lot if I like the story or dialogue. If the game is good I enjoy it, sometimes more if it needs me to get accustomed to it (I enjoyed my second run of Baldur, Planescape or Icewind more than the first) sometimes less (DA:O, ME)

2 months don't pass without me re-installing Vampire:Bloodlines or Sacrifice and playing through them.

I hardly ever replay singleplayer games. Can't think of a single one I've replayed just now, but there's bound to be one or two.

It's probably mostly because I only just got my 360 8 months ago, so there are SO many awesome games I can still play, so usually once I'm done with the singleplayer campain I don't look back.

Halo Reach has me playing online before being done with singleplayer tho, but since my gold has run out I'll be completing the campain. And I won't be replaying, because I've got Red Dead Redemption lying on the shelf waiting.

It's always that. I always make sure to have a new cool game ready. That's one of the pros of getting a console late :)

I replayed Portal 2 twice the last two weeks, and I went through Half Life 2, Portal and Modern Warfare 2 dozens of times already. Most of the time, it's for finding little secrets or getting achievements.

I'm not really a fan of online multiplayer, so all I buy the game for is the single player. And yes if I don't feel like replaying it at least once, then I consider it a bad game.

Depends on the game, and the amount of choices for contect.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas, yes.
Mass Effect 2, yes.
Borderlands, hell yes.

Halo, meh. Maybe, if I am REALLY bored.

Any of the Call of Duty games, no. Boring.

I almost never play a game more than once though the occasional one slips through a time or two again. I replayed Portal 2 immediately after finishing it because I wanted to hear all the commentary tracks. That being the most recent example.

Other than that I can't really be arsed to.

Probably the game I've replayed the most is Monkey Island, and games like that have nil replay value because once you've figured out the puzzles there's no challenge, but I love the characters, dialogue and jokes so I replay it, like reading a book you've already read or watching a film you've already seen.

I replay RPG's to see what I can do differently (like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls), but also to challenge myself. Like Beating Crysis with only a pistol and melee attacks. Keeping the same car throughout the entire GTA games. Weird stuff like that.

Depends on the game.
Fallout 3, Mass Effect 2, open-ended RPGs, and other kinds with different experiences for different classes, genders, or different endings -- if I liked the game the first time, I'll replay it one or more times to see what I missed the first time.

Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed, platformers, linear RPGs, adventure games, etc. -- I'll replay them after some time (can be a few months or a few years) if I remember them fondly. Might also get back into them to get 100% of the achievements or trophies if I liked the game enough to make the grinding worth while. I have some games I've played multiple times, like the Myst series. I think I finished these at least four times each (up to #3 at least, only played 4&5 once).

Meh games -- probably never. Unless the story was brilliant there is no draw for me to replay them. The exception is if there is a sequel coming out, and I want to remember what was good about the first one. Plenty of examples here.

Then there are also games which I will keep on playing, but those tend to be games without a story and thus mostly strategy games like Crusader Kings or Europa Universalis (3), or recently Civilization (was 4, now 5).

Crysis, Crysis warhead, Fallout New Vegas (100 hours in one mid-term break on 3 separate campaigns), Mass effect 2, Red Alert 3 and Star Wars Battlefront 2. All replayed MANY times. I am a single player person. That is all.

Yes, I love single player games, fallout 3 & NV, I can always come back to those and find something new each time, Mass effect 2 also works for replaying (partially because I can stand its combat). A few others I can think of right now are Half-life 2, Metro 2033, Saints row 2, Portal, and civ 4.

I only got a PS2 and Gamecube in my console collections so yeah I play single player alot. You wound not guess how many playthroughs of the Megaman X series I have done. (Except X6. Don't got it.)

And I have beat these games at least 2 times.

God of War 1&2
Sly 2 (One of my First games for PS2)
Ratchet and Clank Up your Arsenal (Another first game)
Ace Combat 4
Ace Combat Zero (Like 7 times now. Not my fault this game is SO FUCKING EPIC)
Final Fantasy X & XII
.hack//OUTBREAK (REALLY need QUARANTINE)
Chaos Legion (I personally think Capcom made a gem here but never realy showed it up. A bit more recognition for this gmae would have been awesome.)
Resident Evil 4
Jak 3
Legend of Spyro A new Beginning
Legend of Spyro Dawn of the Dragon
Shadow the Hedgehog

And on my Gamecube
I got nearly every trophy in Super Smash Bros Melee meaning I did Adventure and Classic with all characters.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Final Fantay Crystal Chronicals
And Legend of Zelda Master Quest.

So yeah. I like single player.

Well, I have 91 hours on Mafia 2, so I guess you could say I'm not adverse to the idea.

I often replay singleplayer games - I don't see why singleplayer games are considered to have no replayability whatsoever by some people. If its that good, or scratches a certain itch, then it does have replayability.

I replay just about every SP title I own. I even managed to do Alpha Protocol twice, which is saying something lol.

I still go back and replay old games through emulators quite often. Most replayed SP game for me would be Deus Ex, followed pretty closely by Chrono Trigger.

It depends on the type of game. For shooters I generally replay them on a higher difficulty level ( i almost always play on regular difficulty first). For RPG styled games (Fallout for example) I'll replay o see different endings, conversations and to play all, or most, of the different missions.
For the adventure style games (Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry and God of War) I'll only replay it if they have a New Game+ mode. It's really fun to go back through the earlier levels which may have given you some trouble while wielding weapons and powers of near god-like power. Like in the first God of War, maxed out powers (wrath of Poseidon specifically) and maxed out Blades of Chaos/Artemis make the battle with the Hydra incredibly easy.

If there is no New Game+, I really have no desire to replay the game (Darksiders for example)
