Eryn heard Thomas and turned around. Something was about to attack him. In what seemed like seconds she ran over to him and shot the monster in the face. It laid there dead. Eryn turned to Thomas.

"Are you ok?"
While talking the voices reappeared.
Why are you protecting them. Why didn't you just let it kill them...

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

"Thanks...Eryn." I looked at her again, she was the same as before. She needed to see what she was becoming. I pulled out my knife, prised open her hands, and inserted the blade. I grabbed her wrist and made her thrust the knife through my hand.

" ARGH!!!!! " I screamed in pain, but if it truly showed her what was happening, then it was worth the agony.

"Come on Eryn, do you want this to end up becoming you?!" I made her stare at the blood on my hand, dripping down onto the floor, creating a puddle in which she could see both of our reflections.

"Eryn, fight it...please." I dropped to my knees and prayed for a miracle. I pulled out the knife and handed it back to her.

"If it's too hard to fight...let it kill me now. You know it's not you, it's not part of you, it's unwelcome...fight it...or become just like the rest of them."

I bowed my head, and left myself to the mercy of Eryn's will

I saw thomas talking to a girl I hadnt noticed before - he called her eryn, when he was attacked she was able to move amazingly fast...and earlier she was staring at me kinda oddly, muttering to herself. I should keep on eye on her...while he was thanking her I saw one more undead lumbering towards us, 'Meh, might as well.' I thought to myself. I ran out towards the edge of the barrier, climbed over it, pulled out my baton, then charged right at the zombie and gave it a whack across the head with a loud 'CRACK', crushing its skull and concussing it. It fell to the floor in a heap and I walked back to the barrier, giving thomas and eryn a humorous wave. But then I noticed them acting strangley, By the time I got back into earshot I heard some odd things, I pulled out my pistol and aimed it at them unnoticed, if anything happened...

Eryn held the knife in her hand. Shaking she looked at it with deep thought. The voices in her head getting louder and louder.
KILL HIM! DO IT! ITS SO EASY AND SIMPLE! HE'S ASKING FOR YOU TO DO IT! JUST KILL HIM AND THEN KILL ALL OF THEM! DO IT!!!
The thought crossed her mind but she shook her head. The voices pressuring her to do something that she wanted no part of.
JUST DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT AND YOU CAN ASCEND!

Eryn dropped the knife and fell to her knees. Grabbing her head with her hands. Yelling at the top of her lungs.
"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HEAD! LEAVE ME ALONE!! I DON'T WANNA HURT HIM! I DON'T WANNA HURT ANYONE! I JUST WANT YOU TO LEAVE ME ALONE!"

 

[Ashbax]

Eryn was looking insane, I was ready to pull the trigger when she Yelled so loudly it caused me to drop my gun and put my hands over my ears. I didnt exactly hear what she yelled, but when she was finished I walked over to the two of them and said 'Are...are you ok? both of you?' It seemed the only thing I could do. Eryn still looked a bit insane...

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

I gritted my teeth when Eryn let out that scream, but I knew it was for the best, for both of our sakes, she had to come to terms with the monster. I walked over to her and put my arms around her, singing a lullaby.

" Eryn, thank you...you did so well, I'm proud of you. "

"Yeah..I'm fine now." The voices stopped. She could no longer hear them. Picking the knife up she put it away. "I'm not going to turn into a monster..I won't allow myself to become like David or Jason." She smiled and said "Thank you Thomas." She went back to the barricade and finished putting it against the hole.

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

"Ouch...now we've gotta patch up my hand eh Eryn?" I chuckled to myself, it was worth it. No matter how bad the situation became, I always had something to laugh at.

 

[Ashbax]

I stood there, rather surprised at how they had just carried on so calmly, and who the hell was Jason? Although seeing as she mentioned david it seemed fairly obvious what she was. I guess id just have to avoid her. God this was getting too freaky. And a bit dramatic...I leaned over and
said quietly to thomas 'Are you sure you can trust her? she might be...you know, Dangerous.'

I smelt something. Fresh blood, except, it wasnt coming from the barricade it was coming from an alleyway behind me. I walked over to the edge of the roof looking over the alley and saw and injured woman, I shouldnt attack her shes not the one im after. But no matter food is food after all. I leapt down behind her quietly, than extended my tentacles and wrapped them around her neck. She managed a short scream before I snapped her neck like a twig. Then i started feeding on her. I finished feeding and leapt back up to the roof, then paused. Something was happening to me. My skin was hardening, turning to some sort of organic metal, becoming harder more defensive. My body also shrunk a bit, not that I minded once all the changes were complete i settled down to wait for my intended victims to leave.

I heard a woman scream, I looked in the direction of the noise...., I looked over at thomas 'Er, im gonna check that out...' I ran off through the street heading towards the general area of the scream, I found an alley. This seemed about right...I whipped out my pistol and walked into the dark alley. I found the Shredded carcass of a woman, which almost made me puke, but I heard something shifting on the roof above, I saw a large shape and fired two shots at it, then regretted it, seeing as I remembered what it did to that woman. I kept a tight grip on my M9 and didnt shift its aim from the shape once...I waited for whatever was to come.

Something was shooting at me. The bullets bounced off of my new skin. I looked over and saw one of the police officers aiming towards me. I turned and walked away, the officer was unimportant. I quickly leaped across the street and hid inside shadows on a different rooftop.

The shadow disappeared..I had only gotten one good look at it...I ran out of the alley and saw it sprinting across the rooftops. It was going too fast for me to give chase...I had to tell the others what I saw...I ran back to the Barricade as quick as I could and told the first person I saw - matt - everything I had seen. When I finished I asked 'Do you know what it was...?'

Eryn heard what Dylan had said to Matt. Speaking but not turning her head to face him she looked at the rooftops. "Its was Jason. I don't think David would come back..not yet at least." Eryn went over to Thomas. "We need to come with a plan. Having Jason attack us would be the last thing that any of us would want."

Im sorry, I just cant Lol @ saying 'having Jason attack us would be the last thing any of us would want' Becuase of Jason Voorhees...he just springs to mind

I stared at Eryn....Ah, so THIS was jason... Oh shit. 'Ehm, do you want to examine the, er, Body? it might do some good...Actually, it might be best to stay in here...I'd say hes somewhere nearby...' I walked off and started repeating Quietly 'I dont wanna die im not gonna die I dont wanna die Im not gonna die I dont wanna die...'

I looked around at the death and destruction in the barricades. Noone seemed to have high morale in this situation, and it was taking a toll on everyone. I saw the cop named Dylan run off after a scream. He wouldn't save anyone. This whole place was dead, and nothing was worth saving.

I turned to Ray. "All these soldiers and cops have no idea what to do. I think we should move on without them. They'll just slow us down, and we can't afford that with Jason and David out there."

It sounded cold to say that but, sometimes you needed to be cold...just to survive.

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

After all we'd been through, it didn't look like were gonna get lucky.

"Ok, plan time. If jason comes, we don't have any choice but to run, the last time one of us tried to take on anything like that...it ended up with a broken face and lots of friction burns." I laughed to myself, everybody knew that I was fine.

"We need to find somewhere that we can stock up, maybe an munition factory...and god dammit I need some food!"

 

[Ashbax]

I listened to Thomas make this small announcement, and decided to give in an idea 'If we came across one of these things, shouldnt someone stay behind to keep them distracted while everyone else runs? Causes a death, yes, but it saves everyone else...'

Dude...so cliche!

"I understand you Dylan...but, it's our responsibility to keep these people alive. To be honest with you, we're still on a mission, we weren't sent here to protect anyone, my main concern is to keep everyone from our squad alive. We're concerned with your safety, but these people come first...we've already lost 4 of them..."

I looked around to see if there was anywhere we could rest.

"In there!" I pointed towards a building that looked extremely sterile.

"We've gotta rest up! Go!"
