Resident Evil: Umbrella's City. Officially Ended!

I sat against a wall, Bleeding, looking at the back of David. My pain was intense but this was quite a distraction...I looked up at thomas and eryn. It seems we Survived that attack - barely... Joshua was dead, I was almost gutted, and infected, but being apparently being cured... Although if anything this 'antidote' just added much more pain. it was getting more intense... and eryn was injured. it seemed the person who hasn't been seriously hurt or killed was Thomas...I finally managed to get some words out 'Are we...going...to give him...one of us...?' Before I could hear the anwser the pain sharply and suddenly got unbearable and huge, I yelled out as loudly as I could.

'AGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!' I writhed on the floor, I shuddered, I kicked, I yelled again, I tried to get a grip on myself and just grunted out the pain and shut my eyes tight. Every thought was pushed from my mind (Including Davids deal) except the pain. It was like being inifficeintly steamrolled over and over. I felt a churning sort of pain deep inside of me. I struggled not to burst out. I knew if I lost control over this id go on for hours.It was this 'Antidote'... I guess id have to leave the decision of who to give up to eryn and thomas, I hope they gave me up - the quicker I was put out of this pain the better.

I managed to get some snippets of the others conversation and over the pain I half yelled, half wheezed 'Give him me, I have nothing to lose!'

Eryn smiled at Aileen. "Your not infected like me. I can heal quickly." She looked at her hands. "At least this way if I get to David and Jason...we might all..the infection can end with us. I don't want it to spread anywhere else." Then turning to face Dylan. "Dylan you can barely stand. I'm going to go..please no one argue with me. You all need to find a way out of here."

'Eryn, we don't want you to go because well, your probably our best protection. The reason I should go Is im useless, Even if I survive long enough for the cure to work, ill die of these wounds.'

"You have Thomas and Aileen. Their better protection than I could ever be. And besides if I go with David then I know Jason won't be far behind. You guys just need to focus on getting out of here as soon as possible."

 

[Ashbax]

I shook my head 'That doesnt matter, we arent even sure what he'd do to whoever is sent - But as I said, I have nothing to lose.'

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

"No. This is where the self-sacrifice ends. I administered an anti-dote that had not been tested, that had most likely caused his rapid deterioration. I'm not going to let any of you offer up your lives to that infected psycopath. Besides, I've got a plan. David's infection is much more evolved than Jason's. I'm sure you know where I'm going with this."

David was looking impatient. I offered up my hands, and walked over to him...

Ok David...this is where I stop your mindless hunt...even if none of us die...you'll stop the chase, I assure you.

I was better now. The healing had happened fast. I decided it was time to get in on this meeting and protect my king. I jumped down and went to stand beside David.

I gave up trying to sacrifice myself to save them...if they wanted to die, that was their choice.

 

[Grab-bag]

"If anyone has to die...I don't mind. I'm no cliche but what do I have to live for? A life of guns and cheap porno movies? I don't wanna' sound like a drama queen though! Oh, and David...I always wanted to ask you this...Did you ever lose you virginity?" I fealt pissed off and upset, but a spark still stayed alive, I wasn't going to die without a fight.

 

[Mr Fatherland]

"Hurry up! I'm getting bored!" I turned around, by the looks of it, it was between Eryn, Aileen and Thomas.
Take Thomas.
"I want Thomas!" They were stunned. "I want Thomas and I want him now." Thomas nodded, he knew what to do. He walked out to me. I gave him a smile, then punched him in the face. He crumpled to the ground, unconcious once again. I lifted his slumped form up with one hand and waved to the others. I threw him over my shoulder, to me he weighed nothing at all. Eryn pulled her pistol out, I shook my head, plus, she knew she might hit Thomas. There were 6 cyclopses left. I ordered them towards the group.
You went back on your deal, you said you wouldn't kill them yet. I shrugged.
"I have no time for games."

Don't worry, Connor and I discussed this earlier on in the day. We decided it's best for the story.

I watched David examine us...like his ideal test subjects. Then his eyes fixed upon me. I couldn't hear much, just David's twisted voice. He had made his decision, and I saw his fist fly towards my nose. It was too late to block now.

It was the second time within an hour that I'd been sent to that black realm...I was unconcious again.

Minutes later I awoke, slumped over David's back...I felt like punching him, but that would do nothing apart from alert him to my awakened state, for the sake of my face. I played possum.

Aileen ran backwards, stopping to fire her sniper rifle every 10 feet.

I shot at all the cyclops' and also at david but missed every time.

Chase David! Now!

I shot again.

Sh^t Said Eryn as she saw Thomas leaving with David. She shot her gun at the cyclops' hitting one and making it fall dead to the ground. Turning around she started to run back. Her wounds still hadn't healed.

What the hell is David going to do to Thomas...where the hell are they going?

Are they concerned...or are they happy that there is one less human to worry about? Do I matter to them?

I was thinking...dark thoughts. I knew that they cared...so why was I thinking these things...but do they care?

"Stop it." I mumbled to myself, I wasn't sure if David had noticed me stirring, all I could hope for was that he didn't.

I was still sitting against the wall when everyone started running. I tried getting up and limping away but fell after three steps in pain, I dragged myself along the ground, hoping to not attract the cyclops attention. I stared back at david and thomas, then to the approaching cyclops. it gave me fear - and adrenaline, I used this to get up and limp as fast as my legs would carry me away - I got at least a dozen steps before falling again. This wasnt working. I pulled out my M9 and fired five quick shots in succession at one of the cyclops faces, It hit his eye on the second shot but I fired the other three to knock him down. I got back up and ran a short distance before having to limp, then I fell and simply dragged myself into the same alley I had found the dead woman a few hours earlier. I sat in there and hoped the cyclops would pass.

four did...but the one I had shot came into the ally while I tried get some energy. I yelled and released three more round at it, two hitting its chest and one missing by an inch. it stumbled backwards and ran at me, it just hit a dumpster and fell in...I remembered it was mostly blinded...if I dragged away quietly it might not notice... I used my last energy to slowly and quietly limp around it, it was still trying to get out of the bin. I picked up a peice of garbage on the floor - An empty beer bottle - and broke it against the wall, I then jumped up from behind the B.O.W and shoved the broken bottle into its neck. It yelled and shuddered before going still, bleeding slowly into the dumpster. I heaved it fully inside and slammed the lid. I then fell to the floor and crawled around behind the bin, hoping David hadnt noticed me going into the alley.

I did notice Dylan going into the alley, but I had other things on my mind. Like what to do with Thomas. I found an empty building, and draggged Thomas up the stairs into what had been the bedroom. I chucked him onto the bed and sat down in an empty armchair. I almost forgot, the standard issue Umbrella handcuffs. I took Thomas's wrist and slapped into the handcuff, anf put the other hand space onto the bedframe. I sat back down into the armchair, it was very comfy. I hadn't slept in a while. I yawned, I could get some rest.

Wow, take a few days off and this is what happens. Now I gotta make up some excuse as to why I missed out on that sweet battle.

I woke up in the street, a traffic light turned from green...to yellow...to red. My head throbbed like a punta, and my legs were weak. I stood up using the wall to steady myself. What were we doing? The police Station! I must have gotten hit in the head by something on the way there. I hope everyone is ok. Lord knew I was no help. I hobbled down the street towards the R.P.D. station, few zombies were in the road, and I took my time going around them. I hopped up the steps to the front door that had massive holes in it, and began to bang on the wood.

"ANYONE IN THERE?" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "It's Rico, can someone let me in?" I patiently waited outside for someone to answer my desperate plea for help.
