"Dunno' Thomas!" I shot at it, bullets no effect again.
"We need a plan!" I aimed and fired.
"Use the flare gun again!" I ran round the side of it and pushed a grenade on the beasts side. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...Boom! The beast wailed and gargled before standing up in a rage...damb!
I waited until the beast roared from the grenade explosion to shoot an arrow at it. My arrow whistled clean past its teeth, and lodged into one of the gum monsters. The beast howled in pain.
"Thomas, whatever you had planned. You had better do it fast. This thing isn't looking to happy." I shot another arrow at it, but the beast closed its mouth and my projectile stuck solidly but harmlessly in its upper lip.
Helicopter blades? not durable or sharp enough, theyd break and we'd crash." I shot the creature twice more and jumped behind a desk as it swept its arm across the room.
Eryn was still behind the group. She noticed Cid lagging a bit and ran up to his side putting his arm over her shoulder. She turned to him.
"C'mon you can keep going Cid."
She heard Thomas. She spoke over her shoulder.
"Thomas, I think if the blades go to a high enough speed they should be able to cut that things skin. You'd need two people though. One to distract the monster and one to turn the helicopter on."
"Thank you Eryn" I said, I was breathing heavily and I was beginning to feel like a burden.
Helicopter blades could work I thought, but the chances of staying up in the air would be one in a million.
"If we can get a copter in the air then I can try to use the blades, but if I die then you guys are shit out of luck for a ride out of the city, you okay with that?"
I turned and launched another flare into the monster, this time the flare wedged itself in the monsters chest and began to burn a hole through the tough skin.
Wait... "Everyone head to that bunker, theres an Apache in there that the Marines brought in for refuelling about a week ago, if we can get to it then I can use the hellfire missiles to bring that son of a ***** down".
I could tell what they were all thinking, but not everything can be risk-assessed.
"Hey, Cid. You fly the bastard, we'll occupy it. There are some things you gotta do without thinking." I smiled to him and he ran off to the Apache. I turned to the others.
"Alright everyone, our hopes rest with Cid, I wanna tell you that should we die on this runway, it's been a pleasure serving with you in the hell-hole. Let's give this ***** some pain." I pulled out my gun and shot the thing in the face. It awoke, and charged towards us.
As I stared up at the gunship, I realised that I hadn't flown anything like this for over 20 years.
I climbed on board and sat myself in the cockpit, lighting up my 3rd cigarette of the hour. My hands dashed across the switchboard as the chopper kicked into life.
Remember, this one may be rigged as well
Fuck it, I thought, lets do it.
The copter soared into the air above the airport, the controls were new to me but they seemed so familiar. I felt the tail rise up behind me as I went in for my first strike...
I just hope that the team gets out of range, these missiles are deadly motherfuckers.
Eryn saw the monster rushing towards them. She waved her arms to get its attention, she did. She knew that if that thing got close enough to Thomas then..she shook her head and pushed those thoughts from her mind. With the infection she could at least outrun it for long.
The monster came rushing towards her. Screaming and agonizing sound. She ran as fast as she could down the runway.
We ran on - the beast was turning around to look at Cid and the copter, but I shot it in the head twice, then tried to shoot again but just heard a click and cursed. As the monster turned its head around, I ran down the same way as eryn while trying to reload. "Thomas, Rico - Come on! Run!"
I began to sprint after the others, the monster occupied and growling at the apache. This might not work I thought. The roters were clocking and the gun was aimed. I ran faster and laughed.
"Back to that sweet old place, sweet home Chicagooooo!" I sang and stuck a pair of V's up at the beast.
They wimpered, out of pain and out of fear. I loomed over them, like a judge. Indeed I was a judge. One lunged at me from the floor, I side-stepped and brought my fist down on his head. He landed with an oomph on the floor. Dead. The others backed into the corner, clearly frightened. I only needed one of the operators, the others would just stall me. I held my gun out to the one on the far left.
"If you want live, kill the other three. Don't even think about pointing it at me, by the time you've pulled the trigger, you'll be dead." He nodded, and pointed it at me straight away.
"Don't move! Or I'll shoot you in the head!" I smiled, and poked him in the throat. I picked the gun up as he gasped for his final breaths.
"You, kill the others or I'll kill you." The man glanced at the corpse and at the gun, then he decided to take it.
"I'm sorry," he fired the gun twice. The two men dropped quietly. I took the gun off the last remaining, living Umbrella employee in Raccoon City.
"Tell me about Umbrella's programs in Raccoon City now."
"Err err, are underground labs were developing err, bio-terror weapons. It obviously went wrong. We sent you and Covington to neutralise the threat, also as a testing unit. We didn't expect you to get this far."
"You left us for dead."
"We just carried orders from that we got from the bosses, you don't think we'd question them would you?" I squatted down next to him.
"What will the government do? Surely Umbrella can't keep this a secret."
"They're gonna nuke the city."
"What," this was madness."How do they expect to cover it up.
"The nuclear plant, it would have been a huge and tragic accident." He answered.
"When will this happen?"
"In about 3 hours. We were just about to leave."
"How were you going to get out?"
"Umbrella built a subway system just for this occasion, an accidental leakage."
"Where's the entrance."
"There." He pointed to what looked like a ventilation system."There's a secret entrance through there." I stood up and levelled the gun at his head. "But I told you eveything!" I shrugged, then pulled the trigger. The back of his head blew outwards in a shower of gore, painting the wall behind him a pretty red colour. I stared at the vent. I hoped he wasn't a liar.
I'm sorry for the awful grammar and spelling in my last post, I've just proof-read it and it looked like I'd written it while stoned. Anyway, you have to find your own way out. (repair the helicopter!) I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but you can't ecscape in the Apache. There are only two seats in an Apache helicopter.
Hey this is SSS, Voodoopigs' orders are that we are not allowed to fly in the Apache or find the underground subway systems. Please repair the EMP'd helicopter.

I managed to reload the Beretta and turned around, Placing my shots carefully - After firing the full clip, I managed to hit the creature in the eyes three times, mildly stunning it. It allowed us to make more space between us and it. Where was cid with the missiles?
Will the monster die, or flee and return again? [/spoiler
