David.

I got to the airport entrance, they were so close I could almost smell them. I followed the trail of zombies only they could have left behind.
David, what are you going to do when we get out? Take the world, or command from the shadows? I shrugged. I didn't know, the future wasn't on my mind at that very moment. I spotted the pile of discarded chocolate bar wrappers, I was getting closer. I walked through the airport until I came to the collapsed stairs. I decided that this was the way, and I jumped down. I walked to the obvious exit, the fire doors. I stepped out onto the runway, only to hear the high pitched wail of the nearby monster...

Introduce the monster before David, I can't post frequantly and I hate to keep the story waiting for me.

I heared the scream...it was here again.

"DUCK!" I jumped down, narrowly dodging the creatures arm as it shattered the glass wall and tried to grab us.

How the hell would we survive this thing...

I took out my gun and started shooting. Something caught my eye. The runway. Somehow his small figure was bouncing of some calling glass.

"Oh for-" The monster smashed down again. It looked like David was coming to have some fun too...

Spoiler: Big Announcement!

StarStruckStrumpets and I have decided to create a joint RP. Both of us will be GMing so there shouldn't be any problems with the RP. The title will be Satan's War. I can't explain it all now but it will be an RP about Satan's own view of war. Players will be given the chance to play as warriors from all parts of time. The RP will be set in hell, but in different battles, progressing in time until the modern day. If you're interested you will get the special privilege of a PM, to tell you when the RP will be starting. Obviously it will be deeper than my brief synopsis, taking part in many alternate histories. I repeatedly yelled and fired at the beast. The arm swept near me and I had to dive to the floor so as not to be killed. "We can't fight this thing! but there are zombies at the only way out..."

Eryn saw David and the monster appear.

Damn...we'll never be able to leave..

Thomas looked at the runway and Eryn noticed it.

"Everyone go to the runway! We have no chance of fighting either of these two!"

I kept firing, but it was pointless. The thing had skin like armour. Then I had an idea.

Would it be possible to paralyse it for a while? The EMP has disabled electrics in here...but when it wears off, everything should be working again...maybe if...

I looked above me and saw two cables hanging from the roof. Now we just have to make it swallow them...

Someone sabotaged the chopper...

I realised that I had become a liability, the only reason these people were protecting me was because I was their ticket out of the city, now Im just an aging, out of shape liability. Hopefully these weren't your typical mercenaries, maybe if I show I can still fight then I can make it through this hellhole.

The adrenaline carried me at a speed that I hadn't been capable of since my days in the military, I managed to stay with the group as we sprinted for the runway.

Looks like they have a plan to destroy that monster.

I looked around. The eliets, damn, they had gotten to our only escape and completly cut it off in one fell swoop. The monster was comeing right after us, hopefuly we could distract it enough for Thomas to formulate a plan. Everyone was assulting it and I was doing as best I could, I was the weakest link, not being able to run as fast as the others, so I basicly had to get to a spot to which the monster couldent get to me, I pulled out my MP5 and began to shoot the monster as accurately as I could.

We continued dodging and shooting. Thomas was too busy staring at cables to notice the arm about to crush him. "Thomas!" I dive at him and shoved him out of the way "For fucks sake thomas!"

Rico saw the monster's arm coming down to crush his teammates, so he loosed an arrow at it. The arrow just stuck harmlessly in its arm, not injuring it at all. So he decided to follow his team to the runway. He ran quickly behind everyone. The monster breathing down there necks.

"Keep moving!" I yelled

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

I looked at Dylan, then glanced back at the cables...

"I've got it! Dylan, lead it towards those things!" I pointed at the dangling cables.

I ran ahead of them, I was going to act bait. Dylan ran in front of the cables, and the beast's huge head followed. It opened it's mouth and tried to swallow Dylan. I pulled out my pistol and fired one shot into it's mouth, it hit one of the monsters inside of it, and it wailed in pain. The beast threw it's head widly into the ceiling and collided with the wiring in the roof.

Come on, Come on!

I prayed for a miracle, and we got it...The electricity spurred back to life, and it pulsed out of the broken cables, sending thousands of volts into the creature's head. It fell to the floor, smoking and twitching.

"Find somewhere safe, that's only paralysed it." I stared in triumph, my plan had worked.

"Jesus Christ."

Eryn went to help everyone. She looked at Thomas and nodded.

"Good Job...at least it'll give us some time. Where are we supposed to go now?"

Eryn looked towards the monster. It would only be paralyzed for a few minutes. Then it would easily get back up and act as if nothing happened.

 

[Mr Fatherland]

David.

I stopped running. They had stunned the monster wih that EMP blast. But I had something else on my mind. I was getting noise from my radio. Human noise.
"-id you hear that?"
"They're doing -tter than we thought."
"Maybe it's time to -eave."
Umbrella, David. I nodded. It was headquarters. They would pay.

 

[Grab-bag]

"Weee!" I laughed and shot the beast out of revenge. I turned and ran. The thought of all that only knocking it out was creepy.

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

I watched David for a few seconds, he was clutching something to his ear. Then I heard noise from my radio. Just white noise...David must have been able to hear it...he was outside of the EMP's range. I saw him jump away.

"Damn..." I looked at the others and stared back at the creature.

Eryn had a point...where would we go? Zombies at one side, the beast at the other...

"Thomas right now all I think the only thing we can do is just continue down the runway. Maybe there is another helicopter farther down. If we stay here then..." Eryn looked at the group. They were tired, they all just wanted to leave.

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

Eryn was right, the only way out of this place was to leave by air...and if we stayed, the thing would wake up pretty soon.

"Right everyone, follow us!" Myself and Eryn ran towards the shattered window, I hooked myself onto the ledge and sailed down.

"Everyone, slide down that!"

I looked through the window that David had jumped through, he was frantically tearing things apart...what was he looking for? I shook my head, if he wasn't bothering us...I didn't care.

David.

I noticed them, but they weren't my concern for the moment. I found out that the closer I got to the actual room the radio chatter got louder. I hunted through the airport for a while, occasionally taking out a few zombies that were in my my way, until I got to the room. I could hear them talking and clattering inside.
Revenge David. Yes. Revenge. The door opened they must have been leaving. The soldier in front looked suprised to see me, in the tiny moment he was alive. I punched where I knew his heart to be. I took a few deep breaths and then fell onto the floor with a thump. I stepped over his body, pushing back the shaking radio operaters.
"It was orders! Orders! We just carried them out. I pulled out my Glock and put a round threw his face. There were four left, I put bullets into all of their knees. I could spend some time with these.
