Also, unlsss #6 has a main character who is gay, I ain't buying it... or if they fix the problems of 5 and make your character move at a decent clip above a retarded sloth in tar.

I reckon the only way Resident Evil would feature a gay main character would be if the game was set in a gay disco and involved shooting hordes of gay zombies, at which point Capcom would include a gay character to parry any claims of homophobia.

I hope this doesn't happen - after Resident Evil 4 and 5, I think I want some alone time without useless support characters getting themselves murdered and forcing me to replay the same sections over and over and over...

I assume you're refering to the files about the other Wesker Children, but you should read them more carefully; They weren't clones.

More seriously, Resident Evil has several things where no one would mind if they stayed exactly the same. Same setting- no matter what the main character is like he or she will be forced into the routine. New baddies too, either directing or acting independently of the zombies.

No wait, I've got it. The same path many horror franchises have tread in search of fresh material- the future. Have a futuristic, Ghost in the Shell-style metropolis suffer the first outbreak in over 40 years. No one knows what to do. Fallen hovercars clog the streets. Even the robot police get overwhelmed or somehow infected as well (maybe a digital form of the T-virus?). At the very least you'd get some powerful new weapons out of it.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition. Seperate Ways, Assignment Ada, and Mercenaries all let you play as Ada. Honestly, she's kinda weak in Mercenaries. Either that, or I just can't play as her.

Wesker is not really, dead, comes back and creates a NEW new supervirus to infect the world for whatever reason. The setting will be in space, fighting moon zombies who are actually reanimated Ganados that were the offspring of lickers and careful attention will be made to avoid the touchy subject of murdering space zombies. Along the way, there will be at least 15 plot twists, all of them easily forseen, in the first chapter alone (Spoiler: Wesker is Chris's father and Ada Wong is Leon's long lost stepsister).

Oh yeah, and you will have TWO AI partners to help you, only everyone has 3 inventory spaces and your friends will attempt to kill everything with their space knife instead of their upgraded shotgun. The only command you can issue them are ATTACK and FOLLOW ME, occasionly with the HELP OVER ABRITRARY OBSTICLE command.

...so yeah, resi 6 sounds like a crackerjack idea
