Technically this is anon. but anyway, I guess I became one over time. I'm not heroin-addict strength achievement whorish yet, but I do focus on achievements when I rent/buy games. I 'needed' to beat my best friends score, which I now did so I'm happy. Now I'm shooting for 20k.

I used to be one, my old gamer tag was about 37,000 in two years but I retired that one and now only play games for fun. My new gamerscore is about 8000 in a little over a year so thats much better

I think I realised i was in trouble when I had 1000/1000 for The Outfit, no-one has 1000 for that game!

My name is Stu, and I've had achievement problems in the past. I've had in-depth discussion and thought on how to possibly achieve "War is Heck" in Endwar, and it still bothers me to this day. I also think about "Neighborhood Watch" in Half-Life 2 Ep. 2 now that I heard about how the Striders ramp up towards the end, to nigh-ensure that you get pushed back to your last building.

I heard about this in an Escapist article, and my first thought was "So, is Neighborhood Watch impossible?"

I am trying to get every simgle pokemon.

The only thing that could possibly be harder is getting all 1000 points in DoA Xtreme Vollyball.

Been trying to do that for a long time now. I can feel it raising my blood pressure.

I'm trying to do it before they release the next generation, then I'm quitting.

Some of the Pokemon are ridiculously hard to get... a game in which you can catch every Pokemon without going down to Toys R Us every other week to get an event Pokemon, and finding someone your age who still gives a damn...

I find the serebii.net forums are a good place to find people who will trade who won't rip you off.
