a man is in a room in the desert, there is a large truck outside with the engine on, the man is hanging from the celing of this room but there is no furniture for him to jump off to hang himself... the only other thing in the room is a puddle, below the man.... he committed suicide but how did he do it??

a man lives at the top of an apartment building, one day he showers, gets ready, etc.. and leaves to go to work, before he leaves he kisses his wife goodbye, he gets in the elevator to go down but before he reaches the lobby level the elevator stops, and the lights turn off... the man then sayes "Oh, no.... my wife is dead!!!" how does he know she is dead??

There's a fire in your basement. the fire is concentrated around crates of Potassium and Nitroglycerin...how do you put out the flames?

Pump inert gas into the room? I know you can't use water because of the potassium...Fire extinguisher?

perhaps you could simply use water to create an explosion with the pottassium, the explosion would ignite the unstable nitroglycerin, and the bigger explosion would expend all of the oxygen in the basement, and the fire would suffocate with no oxygen for combustion.
