There is no "real" answer to this, as Carrol never intended it to have an answer. However, I favor this solution: "They are nevar put with the wrong end in front." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Carrol penned it to shut his fans up once the letters started piling in asking for the answer.

There's also and invisible man in the room who hung the "suicidal" man and then locked the door and he escaped when the cops opened the door. OH WHAT NOW?

Ok now for my riddle: Romeo and Juliet are found on a castle floor dead. They are surrounded by water and broken glass. There is no blood and they were not killed by others nor did they kill themselves. The window is open and there is a strong breeze, how did they die?

There was a man who was on a vacation to Africa,after a few days there he was kidnapped from his Hotel room by some natives.The natives who kidnapped him said they would kill him but let him chose his death.
They told him that he shall give one True and false statement, if it was true then he would be boiled in water, if it was false he would be boiled in oil. The man didn't want to die,but after a few Minuets he prepared a statement.
What was the statement?

My method of death shall be to be boiled in oil.
