Name: Joey Castanzano

Alias: Blue-Blood

Gender: Male

Age: 21

Appearance: Generic Italian mob kid, black hair, 5'8", wears nothing but the best hand tailored suits, silk shirts, tie, pants, coat, etc. occasionally wears a fedora.

Powers/Skills: Able to control flesh, blood, bones, etc. by mere touch, though it tires him to continue doing the same act multiple times, he can only use this a dozen times or less per day, depending on the strength and intensity of the change he causes to his victim's bodies. Healing and regrowing is easier for reasons unknown to him, allowing him to re-knit flesh, make the body produce more blood, that kind of thing.

He also has pretty good aim with his pistol he keeps on himself at all times, pearl handled, cobalt plated, as it is a family heirloom

History: Joey was born into a former mob family, though they had been taken down by the heroes many years prior and he was born into hiding. When he was 19, he watched from inside a panic room with his sisters and mother as his uncle and father were slowly crushed to death by the "hero" that took down his Family, Graviton, a hero with the ability to concentrate gravity in specific places, unable to create it, but moving it. He soon found a button hidden underneath the desk, finding the pistol and opening the panic room door, and rushed out to aid his family, after firing a few shots at the hero, he was trapped, and slowly had the life crushed out of him in the middle of what was left of his uncle and father. He came to a few hourse later, in a hospital bed that had been called by the activation of the panic room, wrapped in bandages, casts, and splints. He looked around, hoping to find his sisters and mother to greet him, but only found blank space. He noticed a while later that he could easily move his limbs without pain and found a way to take off his casts through a tray of medical instruments on his sidetable. He checked himself out and was picked up by the cops when he left, and taken to the precinct, only to be told that his sisters and mother had met the same fate as the rest of his family. After a few hours of rage, crying, and being locked in a jail cell, he came to the conclusion that it was time to take the fight back to the heroes, and repay them in buckets and barrels of blood. He practiced with his pistol for a straight year, during which he spent the final savings of his family and killed the families of two minor heroes to practice his skills, by causing their bodies to produce too much blood and drowning. He's not sure exactly why he's able to manipulate the bodies of others, but since his crushing into the mess of his family's bodies, he's sometimes felt different emotions that weren't his own while feeling nothing in particular. He blames himself for his family's death, and broods over it often, after which he flies into an uncontrollable rage, flipping tables, breaking walls, shooting pillows, ripping apart animals if he gets his hands on them, etc.

I really liked the idea of the first thread, and enjoyed the short misadventure that happened. Just tell me if you think this is too OP or anything.

Edit: I know he may be a bit corny, cheesy, etc., but that's the kind of thing I was going for, since the original thread was supposed to be somewhat comical.

Edit 2: Changed Villian name to Blue-Blood, sounded better than Fleshrender and incorporates his gun and family into it, felt like a better fit for him too.

@VuvuZelaMan: Good question. Seeing as it has a freezing point of 234,62 Kelvin and a boiling point of 629,73 Kelvin, he will probable only come in contact with it in liquid form. It is also pretty hard to corrode because of this. So the only thing that can happen is him turning in to mercury.
That can pose a pretty neat problem. Can he stay together, walking around like a liquid, will he just fall down in to a puddle and then have to try to stay together the whole time?

Do you have any idea what would be the best concerning this neat little metal.

I had this character idea and I was going to use it in the original RP, but in the end I didn't and then I saw it was over ten pages and I was like "Welp, that was a bad idea". Anyhoo...

Name: Preston Matthews
Alias: Stormer (also refers to himself as the Lightning Master, for dramatic effect)
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Appearance: Caucasian, 5'11", Blue eyes, Brown hair that seems to always be standing up like an electric current is running through it. His outfit consists of a simple jeans/t-shirt combo, the shirt has a lightning bolt drawn on it and Preston also wears a pair of fingerless gloves and a pair of dark sunglasses, meant to obscure his face.
Powers/Skills: Can create miniature clouds which can then be used to fire off lightning bolts. Usually Preston would create a cloud around each hand an fire bolts from those, but the clouds don't necessarily have to be close to him. He sometimes uses them as a backdrop to himself while doing an evil laugh (something he is prone to do frequently). Preston can create clouds up to a range of about 100 metres away, but the farther they are, the less effective they tend to be.
History: Preston always wanted to be an actor. As a child he would always make distracting outbursts in class, which none of his teachers were happy with. As he grew older, he made many attempts to join theatre and improv groups, so he could show off his ability to act. Most times this ended with him being kicked out of the group, the common reason being that he was always overacting and ruining the scene for others and hogging attention. Preston assumed they were all just jealous and refused to dial it down. Another thing Preston always liked was villains. Especially those with style and a flair for the overdramatic. He saw supervillainy as the best possible outlet for his acting skills, where he knew they'd be appreciated.

After having been kicked out of yet another theatre group, Preston was walking home angered in the middle of a storm. He didn't know that high above him, "heroes" were combating with an alien ship (it was a royal escort ship that had taken a wrong turn at Uranus and one simple misunderstanding led to another...). A piece of the ship broke off an hurled towards Earth. Preston only saw it once it struck the ground in front of him, tearing up dirt in the park he was walking through. No one else was around so he went over to investigate. He touched it, seeing that it felt metallic in nature. At that moment, a large bolt of lightning appeared overhead and the ship piece acted as a lighting rod. The bolt struck the piece and then went right into Preston, throwing him backwards.

He awoke in a hospital sometime later. After about a day they let him go with a clean bill of health. It wasn't until later in his small apartment that sparks started to fly form his hands. He found, after a lot of time and effort that with concentration he could create miniature clouds that fired lightning. It was prefect, he even started making a costume for himself. The costume was made of gaudy fabrics and a large cape, however, since the recent overcrowding of heroes, he knew he'd have to draw less attention to himself (for the first time in his life). He decided to go with more plain looking clothes, but still painted a lightning bolt on his shirt, knowing that a symbol is a large part of the act.

Now that he had the clothes and the powers, all he needed was a chance to achieve his dream.
Seems good. Good power, but just one question: what is the range limit on the clouds' lightning bolts, or if there isn't a definite one, how much does the distance from the target affect the cloud?
The farther away the cloud is from Preston the weaker it's bolts are so, I figure it's the same for each individual bolt. The farther it has to shoot, the weaker it is. Although larger clouds can make more powerful bolts, so they would be stronger and be able to go farther. So the length of the lighting bolts depends on how far it is from Preston, how big it is and how far it's shooting....I dunno if that really answers your question but it did give me a chance to figure out specifics as far as powers go :p

Well I guess the average cloud he makes would be about a metre long so a bolt could probably go about 5 or 6 metres before there's a noticeable drop in its strength.

Name: Lourens Tennant
Alias: Ferrous
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Appearance: Caucasian 5'8, Green eyes, Short rust brown hair, Wears a Black balaclava, with a red hard hat, brown boilersuit and black combat boots. Doesn't wear any gloves, else his power's won't work.
Powers/Skills:
Corrosion: Can corrode metals by touching them. The stronger and thinker the metal is, the longer it takes to corrode. Corrodes an area of 4 feet in radius from where he is touching. It will only corrode metals can be corroded.

Metal absorption: His body can change in to the metal he is touching, gaining the strength and weakness from it for a short while. Can't corrode when he has absorbed a metal.

Metal diet: Needs a steady diet of metals and normal human food.

History: Lourens comes from a family of construction workers and metal workers. All his live, he has lived with and around metals and learned everything about them form his family. Besides learning about metals, Lourens also grew with certain values. No showboating, do your job and don't complain.

After following his dad and becoming a construction worker, Lourens always had a job with the amount of collateral damage that the heroes and villains caused. One day while repairing a factory building that manufactured chemicals. One of the battles between a Supervillian, his henchman and some Superheroes, spilled on to the construction site. In the battle one of the vats that holds some of the chemicals, got damaged and started leaking. The Superheroes, too busy with the battle, didn't pay any attention to the leak. Seeing the hazard that the leak presented, some of the workers and Lourens tried to stem the leak. Having managed to put a sheet of metal over the leak, Lourens and another worker had to keep it steady while others welded it to the vat. A stray blast from one of the Super heroes, knocked ever one of their feet. This caused the sheet of metal to fall on the Lourens and drench him in the chemicals. Not noticing anything weird at the time, Lourens got back on to their feet and finished their job. With the battle done, one of the Superheroes got angry with them for repairing the leak. It was there job to do such things and it stole the lime light from him for them doing it.
Lourens was astonished by this. Why would he think that, that was why they were doing it.

They just did their job. Thinking nothing of it, Lourens just continued with his job. The next day, some of the metal plates that Lourens touched got corroded for no apparent reason. This happened on and off over the day, with the day ending with him turning in to the metal he was touching at the time. After a hour of walking around like that, Lourens turned back to normal. Freaked out about this, Lourens went home and told his family about it. They tried to help with it and to a degree they succeeded with giving him different things that see what happened to him or the things them self. Because of this, one his family members came got the idea about using his new abilities to sabotage the competition.
This worked for some time, until one of the Superheroes got suspicious. Tracking him done, the Superhero tried to take Lourens done. His family tried to help Lourens escape by delaying the Superhero, but this only caused the Superhero to turn on to his family. Injuring several and killing his dad. Having managed to evade the Superhero, Lourens swore revenge for the killing of his father on the Superhero.

Name: Tobias Cornwallie

Alias: Sir Perdu (Perdu is old English for an ambushing soldier).

Gender: Male.

Age: 22
Appearance: Well he's completely invisible so no one really knows, but he is a middle aged, British man, with a posh, Queen's English Accent.

Powers/Skills: He is power is invisibility. The catch is that he has no control over this, he is invisible all the time. This is both a curse and a blessing, but either way it eaves him well suited to villainy. This is the only power be possesses, but when he combines it with hi bitter cunning and physical strength, he becomes a force to be reckoned with.

History: Tobias Cornwallie is the youngest member of the famous Cornwallie family, a noble family hailing from Sussex with their roots firmly grounded in the British armed forces. For all of his life, Tobias has trained to become an officer in the BAF, spending the last four years of his life studying at Sandhurst Military College.

Even amongst his like minded peers Tobias struggled to fit in. His Social-Life was lacklustre to say the least and his love life was all but non-existent. He often wondered if people seemed to simply see through him. The lack of social contact left him bitter and vindictive and with a crippling self esteem issue, but he got through his college days by burying himself in books and fantasizing about his future revenge.

This all changed on graduation day. Tobias was going through is Great-Grandfathers belongings, deep in the vaults below the manor, looking for his famed sabre to wear at the parade. He couldn't find it, but he did find something better, a small lockbox from his Great-Grandfather's time in India. Prizing the rusty lock open, he found a small bejewled amulet inside. Instinct dictated that he put it on and no sooner had he did the metal chains clasp tight around his neck. Freaking out he tried to rip the amulet off but it was stuck fast, then he froze. He couldn't see his hands, he was invisible.

Tobias Cornwallie disappeared that day, but within weeks people started hearing the name "Sir Perdu" Whispered from unseen voices, first across Europe, then in the States. The world is Tobias' oyster.

His only regret is that he can no longer wear clothes in public.
"Whoa...Deja Vu, This Backstory is INSANELY Similar to the Last Invisable man we had, aside from the Magic Box thing, His was a serum, No problem with that though, just expect to be called "The Gentleman" from Time to Time."

Name: I forgot

Alias: The Witty Angy Twit aka T.W.A.T.

Gender: Male

Age: What year is it, 2012? Can't be bothered to remember let's say 20

Appearance: 5'8". Other than that it's kinda a mystery after the super glue and costume shop incident, the only parts of my body not covered are my hands, feet, and that spikey mop of brown hair that somehow resists gravity's influence. The various pieces make me look like a overly flamboyant Team rocket member with a crappy knock-off hollow mask that smells faintly of urine.

Powers/Skills: Highly intelligent, though this is often offset by fits of apathy and pure idiocy. Also I can not die in anyway. Well not exactly. I can die, but I drop all my inventory and then wake up in my childhood bed an hour later. Also Taco Bell, Del Taco, and haggis turns to the ever context sensitive, McGuffium-238 after I digest it. It is... unpleasant but it funds my "evil" plans quite well. Also the "droppings" make a effective, but smelly, blunt weapon. Unfortunately I can only produce McGuffium-238 after eating the food stuffs previously mentioned, which are difficult to come by in prison. Figure they'd enjoy giving us terrible food, but no, I get lobster and caviar.

History: Most of my past is unknown prior to joining the academy. Contracted amnesia after having 12 metric tons of various costumes bombard my squishy human parts. The only thing that can be remembered is a terrible accident in which I was dowsed with super glue and thrown headlong into a costume shop by a hero, wearing tights that looked about two sizes too small, during the attack against Maldeath. Joined the academy after mistaking it for a Dairy Queen, stayed for pointless petty revenge against the hero who glued a urine mask to my face.

Still upset about there being no soft-serve.

Edit: Changed to remove ability that affects other players and to clarify on powers main effect.
"...You Shit Gold?...By eating Taco Bell?...and you throw it at people?...Meaning you would have to shit...on your hands...and throw it...Please...for the love of god, get a gun...also The fits of apathy and pure idiocy, Does that mean you are a Stoner? And the Childhood Bed, You going to leave that at HQ?...Sheet-wise, I don't mind it, it's just...You shit Fucking Gold..."

Seems like a a very cool idea :p Hope everyone is cool with me leaving this here...

Name: Electrus
Alias: Eric Washburn ("human" name)
Gender: Male
Age: he was born 19 of your earth years ago.
Description: His Eyes are a bright golden shine, suggesting something of his lineage. he stands a little under 6 feet tall, with blonde hair. in his short time on earth, he has stolen a wide variety of clothing (mostly from people right on the street) and his closet is filled with a mishmash of jeans, plaid shirts, and the regal attire he wore when he was banished from his homeworld. he carries himself with a certain regal (to some, vain) quality; he feels incredibly entitled. as a god, he feel's the world should be lining up for him, and anything that he cannot possess he will stop at nothing to get.

Powers and skills: Being the one of the many Bastard-sons of his father, he has inherited much of his father's power. while not a true deity, his strongest feats so far have been punching through a brick wall, and (with great preparation) lifted a car. he also possess the ability to fly, and thanks to the gem he took from his father's body, he can shoot lightning from his hands, using the Gem as a catalyst for his powers.

Weakness: Using the Power Gem for too long will drain him to the point of exhaustion.he is also weakened to the point of paralyzation by pure copper, a weakness all Edenian gods carry.

Backstory: Electrus is an alien, born in a far off world known as Edenia, where Greek-like gods have lived and ruled over the mere mortals of his world for generations. His father, Aldaron, was head of the Pantheon and thus king. He ruled like a tyrant, stealing off into the night and taking many an unwilling woman to his bedchamber. Electrus was the outcome of one of these many unions. as he grew up, he was denied the position of nobility he felt entitled too because of his "bastard" status, and was forced to live amongst the mortals. angry and bitter over what he felt was a denial of his rightful place, Electrus organized a rebellion of fellow bastard gods and oppressed mortals, and led them against their masters. The resulting battle was a bloodbath, which led to the deaths of millions of mortals, and the destruction of nearly the entire pantheon. as he stood over his Dying father, Electrus had thought he'd finally won. Aldaron however, using the last essence of power, opened a portal, and flung his last son into another dimension. he would, eventually, crash into the earth we know.

Sounds fun, I think I'll give it a shot- here's my character sheet from the last one of these:

Name: Amelia Connoly

Alias: Energea

Gender: Female

Age: 21

Appearance: 5'7, slender (about 120 lbs), Caucasian, shoulder-length red-gold hair that is usually tied back, green eyes, multiple piercings in her ears/nose/lips, tribal-style tattoos up her arms and across her back, generally tends to dress casually- her favorite outfit consists of a pink tanktop, a black leather jacket, tight jeans, black leather boots.

Powers/Skills: Can absorb & store energy, either releasing them in bursts or use them to enhance speed & strength. But the energy enhancements only last for a limited time, and she tends to literally "explode" when she gets angry. Also, she can only hold so much energy at a time, and might even become addicted to energy absorption. She also has some experience in street fighting.

History: The only child of a scientist and a nurse, Amelia was always a bit of a trouble child, always off partying, drinking, drugs, etcera, and as her parents were always busy, they never gave her much attention, leading her to run with the wrong crowd. Then one day, Amelia was convinced by her friends to break into her father's workplace in order to steal some tech... just for the hell of it. It just so happened that was the day her father happened to be working on a new method of generating energy, and had just started the machine when Amelia broke in. The resulting backlash of energy zapped the poor girl, sending her to the hospital. When Amelia woke up, she found that she could absorb and manipulate energy. Her father was amazed by this, and wanted to study her. But not wanting to become an experiment, Amelia escaped from the hospital to spend her life the way she wanted, using her new-found powers to live her life the way she wanted, though her old friends were... not looking to come with her, so Amelia went off on her own, now calling herself Energea.
Personality-wise, Amelia is generally a party girl always looking for a good time. But she can also be quite wary about others, considering her experiences, and has a bit of a difficult time trusting people. Her party-girl attitude may be a front for her insecure nature, and at times, she can come across as sarcastic, cynical, and possibly even borderline sociopathic. She's almost always on the move, always looking for a good time, even if the activity it of the illegal sort, as far as shes concerned, that makes it even more fun.

How's that?

@Diablo1099: Got a bit carried away while I was thinking about his name.

Name: Tresto la Mantia
Alias: The Great and Heroic Presto
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Appearance: Short and slick black hair, wears a dali moustache. Wears a long purple flowing cape with stars on it in yellow. A black dinner jacket with a purple bow tie and black walking stick.

Powers/Skills: Magic and Illusions.

The Great and Heroic Presto: Presto has a tendency to refer to himself in the third person and likes to be very much in the spotlight. He thinks he is the next best thing and is very arrogant because of this.

He has used his illusions on his fellow superheroes to cause them to make mistakes, so he can look much better next to them. Because of this, Presto has a tendency to hold grudges against people that, in his opinion, have upstaged him.

It is rumored that Presto has left a police officer bleed to death. The officer had saved some children in a building that was on fire, while Presto was fighting with a Villain. The news afterwards wasn?t about how Presto had defeated the Villain and saved the children. No, it was about Presto defeating the children and the officer saving the children.

How's that?
"Alright I like the Idea, Just can she use all forms of energy or just a certain one? (Standard Electical Energy, Ki or Spirit Energy, Super-Power Energy, Etc)
Also Powering Up, She do the "Crank 2: High Voltage" Thing? Chewing on Live Wires, Shock Collars, fit in with the Wild-Party background."

"Love it, fits in with the whole "Crazied Hero" Theme perfectly, If I do use him, let me know if my actions are in or out of character if you don't mind."

Sounds fun, I think I'll give it a shot- here's my character sheet from the last one of these:

Name: Amelia Connoly

Well, she can mainly absorb electrical energy and convert it to pure energy. As for the other part of the question, she can draw power from those things (the electricity won't hurt her), but too much energy absorbed at one time can be bad.

"Right, Still think about the Shock Collar thing, Push a button, Quick fix of Power and it would fit in with the Punk Vibe you seem to be going for."

Name: Joey Castanzano

Alias: Fleshrender

He also has pretty good aim with his Tommy Gun he keeps on himself at all times, pearl handled, cobalt plated, as it is a family heirloom, he has a name for it as well, which is carved into the back of the trigger handle, Donatello, Donny for short

He soon found a button hidden underneath the desk, finding the machine gun and opening the panic room door, and rushed out to aid his family, after firing a few shots at the hero, he was trapped, and slowly had the life crushed out of him in the middle of what was left of his uncle and father.
Thank you for that, I knew something was missing for his image to be complete but I couldn't think of what it could have been, one cobalt plated, pearl handled tommy gun coming up.

I wasn't thinking about doing that. Just thought about fleshing him a bit more out.

Are you going to make a group for OOC stuff and such?

Name: Xailus vilethine(suit of armor) Terry O'Hara (person)

Alias: Xailus vilethine

Gender: suit of armor used to be male, terry is male

Age: suit of armor is several thousand years old, terry is 32

Appearance: The Helmet looks like the head of a leviathan made of a grey metal with a slight blue hind, ruby eyes. the rest of the armor pieces look like they made off large metal scales welted together with a outline that looks like a rich golden color. The boots are the thick and flat and the tip of them looks like a cube which had the bottom corners cut of completely straight. the gauntlets are claw like and webbed by a metal net. Terry is unable to be seen form under the armor.

Powers/Skills:

general; He is a soul fused to a suit of armor fused to the flesh and soul of a human being (explained in more detail in the history). despite the suit of armors weight it is as agile and fast as a professional acrobatic as well as being a master in combat with a trident (and other polerarms), due to the armors incredible weight his punches pack quite a punch with his speed.

Trident of the oceans king: Xailus is able to push and pull this trident in a similar fashion to pushing or pulling something with a leaf blower or a vacuum cleaner, so there isn't much control over the pushing and pulling but it makes it an amazing throwing weapon as well as other uses. While holding the trident the user can breath underwater and move underwater with the ease and speed of moving on land as well as breath underwater.

mortality: the armor is made of an metal just strong enough to survive a single focused explosion, as well as that any piece of the armor not attached to the head by other pieces of armor of not in direct contact can't move(this will only happen by actually being torn off the terry's skin or by the removal of one of his body parts in the process), Xailus's death can only be brought around by the destruction of the helmet or the detachment of his soul form the armor. The longer Xailus is fused with terry the more of terry's pain he can feel. Terry will also be kept alive for as long as xailus is alive. Anything of magical origin can hurt him as if he was just a normal person.

History: Terry could take no more of society, so he decided to become a kind of hermit, living at sea and only coming to land to trade for supplies. Terry learned how to dive and search for sunken treasure, which he traded to have more then enough money to live. He often found old suits of armor and weapons which he liked to try out for entertainment, when he tried out a particularly fancy suit of armor, he suddenly heard a voice, 'Xailus vilethin lives again' it boomed.

xailus vilethine was a king that ruled a country (more of a island really) forgotten by time, the country was small and had many lakes and ponds in it, warriors of this land were trained to fight both on land and in water, xailus vilethine was a great fighter who conquered the other tribes of this land, he publicly executed traitors of his throne personally. Little did he know that the few people of his land who found themselves with superpower were plotting to dispose of him. with the help of his close allies he was able to kill most of them but one of the rebels who had the power to move souls got a lucky shot on xailus during the fight in the throne room, blasting xailus's soul into a suit of armor that he use to decorate the throne room. His few allies thought he was dead, as soon as this news reached the people they rejoiced, crafting a magical weapon to celebrate the occasion a weapon given the each king that followed. Xailus spend centuries in the throne room watching the high and low of his kingdom, eventually the island sunk into the ocean and xailus was left in the ruins for centuries until he was found by terry.

Now xailus vilethine is able to channel himself through terry, at first terry spend a pretty long time freaking out about what was going on. The two spend a long time getting to gripes with the change in their life, xailus found out about the advances in technology and the state of the world, while terry found out about xailus's life and got used to being unabel to control his body. xailus then decided to look for the trident, once he obtained it he began making his way to land, by walking. Xailus has now reached Parapen and now is deciding how to begin building his new empire, while terry is just trying to figure out how to get himself free from this living prison.
