These powers only display when transformed, which can last for days but will always leave Isaac feeling ill, tired and hungover after he changes back. Displays keen intellect when in either state.

As a young lad, Isaac showed great promise in school, being classified as a genius and graduating with honours, he became more sociable and learned the hard way not to carry money with you in Parallellogram City. Isaac got a steady job in Madkin and Insano's research and developement devision, where he fell in love and got married. When Superheroes began showing up, he thought it a blessing; now he could finally walk the streets safely at night. When Dr.s Madkin and Insano were arrested under suspicion of supervillainy he shrugged his shoulders and went on with life. That is until the so-called heros went rogue and murdered his wife in cold blood just for unwittingly stealing a cheap box of wine. he became reclusive and withdrawn, absorbing himself with his research; a process of local area energy absorbtion without the middle-man of food. Isaac tested the device on himself and it worked far better than he ever imagined: instead of just geting the equivalent of a full stomach, Isaac was made younger by the device, granted the power to absorb energy from the world around him and a boosted metabolism, combining to prevent exhaustion. That night, he discovered his other powers and swore revenge on the brutal, authoriatarian system by any means neccesary. He destroyed his lab, to prevent a hero getting hands on his work and set out to that night.
The next day, Isaac was arrested for destruction of property and thrown in prison, though he didn't care. He would bide his time. After all, he thought, revenge can wait another six months.

Just took a quick read to freshen my memory of what you spluttered to me orally, it's awesome, but it's a bit funny in how it tries to fit into the context. You've juxtaposed Indiana Jones with Batman, and it will be interesting to see how you fit, say an Elder Scrolls character Into Fallout scenarios, as a similarly warped example.
