'A stance is a position which provides the correct balance for your weapon and fighting style as well as being the best position to be in to pull off your fighting style. a lack of a stance allows your balance to be more easily messed with making your movement easier to control, for your foe. A lack of a proper stance also means it may be harder to use your advantages and may make it easier to have your disadvantages used against you. So if you don't have a stance you don't know how to wield your weapon to its full capabilities.'

Xailus kept his left hand still while moving his right hand in a curved fashion forward, this resulted in the bottom end of his trident smacking joey to the side, 'sorry but I can't exactly leave my stance and leave myself open to an attack' xialus quickly returned his weapon back to its normal position 'you are going to have to try harder then that'
