Something which has been amusing me lately. Guys saying that they prefer 2D girls to their 3D counterparts. Now I'm not having a go, I don't mind that you feel that way, I just want to know why some people consider real life girls pig disgusting. Of course you have to deal with all the smells and fluids of a real girl no matter how much perfume they use, whereas it's completely optional with 2D girls whether or not you want to imagine they have any body fluids or unpleasant smells.

Maybe part of the problem is holding the ideal girl on a pedestal as a completely sanitary, angelic creature who does not poop, does not breathe, does not have any of the human bodily functions that a male has. Are there any more reasons?

I...honestly wouldn't think a guy would feel this way unless he'd never actually had a girlfriend, or only had one and she was a total *****. It sort of disturbs me to think that there are people out there who actually feel that way.

I mean, I guess I could see how they could like 2D women better because of the lack of restriction on...well, anything within the material plain (impossible proportions and all that) but for the regular human being this probably isn't the normal mindset.

Maybe it's not about how their bodies work. Maybe they prefer 2D girls because they react better to them than 3D girls, like they don't hate on people and are written to be likeable.

I think the problem is when you think the anime girl looks "perfect". Her eyes cover up 30% of her face, and her tits are each larger than her head. That is not perfection by a normal standard. That might be anime "perfection", but I'd more likely term in lazy art design and unattractive. To me, the real girl in that picture looks far more "perfect" than the unrealistically shaped anime girl. Whatever gets you off, really, but it's a matter of preference.

The only way that the 2D image of a girl is better than a real one would be at all true is if you wanted the sum of your interactions to be to stare blankly at her. I'm given to understand that real life ones take offense to that if you do it for too long.

But seriously... Are there guys out there who actually believe that women don't have basic biological functions the way guys do? If so, seek mental help because you desperately need it. I'll take interaction with a human being over some idealized blow up doll or set of pictures any day of the week.

I have not met any guys that hold this belief, however I have met girls that actively go out of their way to hide/pretend that they do not do these things when they are around a guy they like... This is actually quite funny to watch I must say.

Laugh out Loud. Playing sports serves no biological function, while wanting to mate with a person of the opposite sex (or same sex if you're gay) does. You can play games etc and not play sports in real life, and yet lead a fulfilling life. You can also get a partner and get laid! But saying you like pictures of girls over girls in real life indicates something is indeed wrong with you, and that you are most likely a life scrub. Most of these people are just ones that can't get laid, give up, and then think of nonsense like this to save their ego. Not healthy.

It's a strange world out there to be sure. I've fantasized about 2d girls but it always came down to wishing they were real rather than anything else.

Im actually kinda embarassed/not comfortable with bodily functions so will go out of my way not to be too "gross" in front of others, no matter how much it pains me. Sneezing is just about the only thing i dont have any shame doing.

But despite that uncomfortableness, ive never really had a go at others or been put off by others for normal functions, guys or girls alike, heck i remember 1 year in uni accomodation in particular, twas 3 guys and 3 girls and trust me when i said they did not really restrain themselves...

So guess i can kinda see where they are coming from with being grossed out by very normal bodily functions (they aint comfy with that themselves, i can relate) but to the point where they outright avoid people or an entire gender because of it? Now thats just a shame :/

Nah, I find this ridiculous too.This whole thread is filled with blind hate and ill meaning disbelief, people being glad that these "stupid" or "sick" people will be out of the gene pool, for something that doesn't even have any affect on anyone. It's like insulting a sexuality in the past generations. Since it seems so weird to the average person since it isn't the same as them then it's suddenly horrifying.

Nobody makes threads about asexual people saying they're sick for not being attracted to people, and nobody makes threads about people being sick for a certain fetish, but it someone just isn't attracted to real people and prefers something else then apparently it's awful. I think it may be because the OP phrased it as if the person holding this position was insulting everyone else, which makes them an ass, but doesn't make their position bad in anyway.

There's no need to be so harsh to someone about something that has no affect on you or anyone else.
