Robert Downey Jr. asks us to forgive Mel Gibson

I think Robert Downey Jr. did what he should as a friend.

As for the controversy behind Mel Gibson I don't really care what his opinions are. Hell, I find them hilarious most of the time. As for affecting his career, I could care less how crazy the guy is as long as he can entertain me with his films.

Everybody lets loose something that they shouldn't say and I am not going to hate on someone for just speaking their mind.

There's a slight difference between a guy with drink and drug issues, and a massive fucking racist, anti-Semitic, homophobe and misogynist.

To be fair, a "******" is not just a black person, but an ignorant, evil hearted, hate filled, society blaming, racist black person.

That is a wonderfully ignorant statement. I guess you may instead mean "nigga", but even that annoys me.

Jesus lady it's not like he killed anybody. So much unadulterated hate. Arnold Schwarzenegger cheated on his wife for 13 years but somehow people aren't giving him half as many stink eyes. I don't know how people arrive at their value assessments but if I did something stupid (perhaps you are thinking I did in making this post right about now) I know I'd appreciate a little forgiveness.

These are several instances over a long period, not one mistake.
