It looks like my computer can run it, but like so many others on here I'm stunned by the size of the download. 35GB just seem excessive for a game like this.
as far as I know, the PC version of Force Unleashed was also 30GB, although the standard PC version of it was the Sith Edition or something like that, so it may have been extended up the assHammeroj said:What's stupid is that the Xbox is restricting developers to a seriously outdated file storage format, as if the general suckiness of the system wasn't enough. You should have seen the comments section of the original announcement on the R* website.
People thought you need a GTX680 with 16GB RAM to max it out just because the developer said its "supported".
Looking forward to see what a 35 gigabyte game looks like.
Edit: Actually, I think I played one. Didn't God of War 3? basically use up an entire Blu-Ray? disc?
The reason the PC version was 30GB was that they bizarrely had duplicate copies of every pre-rendered cutscene in 720p for each of the half dozen or more languages the game supported, instead of just having multiple audio tracks. It's one of the stupidest things I've ever seen and did something like triple the amount of disk space the game used (don't remember the exact numbers after this long, but it was somewhere around there).Hammeroj said:That can't be. It has to be like nonstop cinematics (correction: videos of any sort littering the disc) or something, because the game looked like a generic one DVD usin' game, and not even the best of them.teh_Canape said:as far as I know, the PC version of Force Unleashed was also 30GB, although the standard PC version of it was the Sith Edition or something like that, so it may have been extended up the ass
You are my new best friend for the day.Hammeroj said:You can amuse yourself with those adds, though, if you know what I mean.antipunt said:also:
Since when did captchas become ads? Weren't they originally purposed for making sure you weren't a bot/spamming? These new ones can be a b**** to type..
they accept literally any answer
Well, they have been building the game from the ground up for the PC, rather than porting it to consoles, so I would not worry too much...Irridium said:I'm more worried about how this game will be optimized. Because the PC ports of Rockstar's recent games, GTA IV and LA Noire, are pretty crappy.
Hey! Don't be dissin ma's Packard Bell. It can check the e-mail dontcha know.Andy Chalk said:, it probably wouldn't be too smart to try to play Max Payne 3 on your mom's Packard Bell.
Probably because it's difficult to believe that a dev would be so retarded as to list maximum specs.odBilal said:You think that is silly?teh_Canape said:>35GB HDD
