As a fan of the EU and the Jedi Knight games this angers me... but it also looks pretty cool and I can't wait. However I am hoping for Kyle Katarn to be in this as he as amazing.

Because as one of those rabid EU fans I know they will throw the EU out the window which I should just accept but as I said... Rabid fan.

Looks like it could be good. Will be interesting to follow people who are not force users. I hope they have some scenes of the group running away from Vader. Just fear and powerlessness.

The dialogue though was killing me.

"It is a rebellion...I rebel."
I think it is just I have no context, so it sounds bad to me.

It's cheesy, but hopefully it will turn out to be Star Wars brand of being delightfully cheesy.

Hey, I love the EU as much as the next guy, probably more even, and I'm pissed that my 60+ EU books are technically useless now, but I think the new movie is a great way to introduce both old and new characters to the big screen.

Take Star Wars Rebels for example, they recently had a new character who is obviously Fenn Shysa, the Mandalor during the Galactic Civil War, except his last name is now Rau. I think we could definitely see a Kyle Katarn-ish character, though I'm sure he won't be a Force user.

Heh, I just watched the teaser a few hours ago and I assume the full trailer was tomorrow.

OT- It look pretty cool but I can guess what will happened to them given this take place before episode 4. It goes to shows that the Star Wars film does look good in modern time as long it isn't fully cover in CGI.

I think it was just the Original Trilogy vibes, but obviously darker. Reminds me of 90's Star Wars EU, before Episode 1 came out.

Unless it's a person, but I don't recommend that due to various ethical and legal concerns that could arise from your actions.

OT: Looks okay. Looks very Star Wars-y. Glad to see someone is going after a Death Star in this one, that's refreshing.

Though many fans hope they bring stuff back in. Rumors say Thrawn will appear in Rebels. Of course, it would be a different Thrawn, but still.

As someone who almost cringed themselves into a coma watching GoT, wouldn't watching someone do a ham fisted job of "adapting" favored material actually be worse than simply watching them disregard it entirely?

This looks pretty great, but I was burned by Episode VII so I'll maintain a cautious distance from this one to contain the hype to reasonable levels.
