We've all had them, hell, I've had plenty. And I've found that the best way to get over them is to post them on the internet so we can all laugh at you...So, you should do just that. Post akward dates, rejections, etc.

I've got several good ones, but I'm only going to post the most recent:

In short, I decided to tell my friend who couldn't keep a secret if you hid it in his ass that I sorta liked this girl. Within 48 hours, I get a text from another friend saying "So, you like (blank) huh?". Turns out that my friend felt the need to tell the girl for me.

So I walk into school on friday full of dread, and my friend gives me a note. It's from the girl, saying she's currently with someone, but would like to get to know me better. The following monday at lunch, she asked for my phone. When I gave it to her, she put her number in my phone book.

School ended that friday, and being totaly chicken shit I had decided to wait until summer to call. When I did, it said that the call could not be completed as dialed.

Well, honestly, I'm going to cite my entire life as one big failure. Romantically, anyway.

One time I couldn't work up the nerve to ask this girl out. So, my friend did it for me. She told me to "fuck off."

Something similar happened to me:

-A girl wanted to get to know me better. But, I think I came on a little strong. That scared her off and she didn't look at me for the rest of the school year. :p

I went to Japan for my Senior spring break. Had a special girl at the time and we'd been going steady for seven months (that was a record for me in high school). While in Japan I got her a Kimono, sash, hair pin, sandals, the whole damn shebang for a bit over $100 USD. Before class when we'd talk and or make out regularly and during one of those times I gave her all that stuff and asked her to prom (it was about a month before prom). She accepted. Flash forward to a week before prom: she dumped me and I didn't go to prom at all...Wonder why I'm emotionally distant?

Wild At Heart, all the way. Can't go past David Lynch.

I've had so many romantic fails I could write a book. None of them were all that amusing though, they were mostly pretty mundane and wouldn't make interesting reading...

Ctrl-a, Ctrl-c, Ctrl-v. Allthough I'm a victim of the dreaded Friend-zone. If it hadn't been for that blasted mental area, I would be the epitomy of "whine-less-ness"

I told my mate i was going to ask out "the girl i like", hes an ok friend so no names. He then relayed this to my best friend... the girl in question who immediately realised. She found me after school. I opened my mouth to say what i had planned and i got

"hey lauren i was thinkin abou-"
"yeah id love to, yes".

My face must have been priceless. I gave that friend a punch and a hug for being epic and annoying all at the same time.

Congrats, but that's not really a Fail. That's more of a Romantic Win

Are you kidding? I was SO nervous! I had this speech planned word for word and was DREADING it. The nerves were killing me. Imagine what happened when my little plan imploded. I was stunned for ages. Just blank faced quiet for about half an hour... aparently i looked like id seen something terrifying.

I mean like hours of preperation and asking my friends about it.

I don't really think I've had any.

Oh, wait: I think I might have had a crush on a girl when I was 8 years old, and I would say that entire experience was fail from one end to the other.

Haha! Despite looking like Tom Hanks and/or Jeff Gordon, I couldn't talk to a girl to save my life. I think I'm just too nice, honestly.

This. Have had girlfriends, just not as many as other people. My last relationship was good, but didn't last very long and it didn't really work out in the end.

Biggest romantic fail was either telling someone I liked this girl and then EVERYONE found out, made her feel like shit. Knew that wouldn't end well (I wasn't really considered a popular, so people thought she was out of my league). The other was asking a girl out about 5 times in the space of a month, growing a bit obsessive, and eventually just leaving it after three months. It sounds crazy, but she's one of my best friends now. Unfortunately, her new boyfriend (who she went out with before) was kinda jealous of me when they were together last due to the fact that me and her were really close, didn't see her for 2 months straight at one point. Unfortunately it looks like that will happen again. Anyone wanna offer advice? :p

A girl I really liked asked me who I liked. I really wanted to just say "you, I really like you" but sadly she had just told me that she liked another guy and I couldn't very well tell her how I felt without making an ass of myself. So I lied and said no one. Now we have gone our separate ways and I will likely never see her again... fun stuff.

I'm a good listener. But when girls talk, I use ear plugs. Therefore, I'm far from being a romantic guy. I consider myself... practical.

Well me and this Girl were seriously dating for over 11 months, then after one weekend she came over with her friend and just told me she was dumping me over school work and left.

She never told me the real reason why she dumped me, and from that day on never spoke to me again.

Its taken 3 months and stronger anti-depressants to get over her (First "love"/serious relationship so sue me) and have some degree of self confidence.

Its not as good as some of you guys but yeh...
