Authoros glared onwards after finishing off the now dead beast. 'Everyone on me! Surround the bastard!' he commanded as he turned his vicious gaze onto the group who quickly obeyed, as he and his comrades charged at the now alarmed creature.
I'm starting my own RP, but it's a little different conceptually than this one is. So I'll still come here as well. I thought it would be fun to take it in another direction
Following behind Authoros, Kris and the others carved through the few remaining creatures, who had gathered around the Illithid. Though tired and wounded, the group fought with renewed energy, knowing that this must be the final fight to escape this dark place, and they all started to hack and slice at the dark, demonic being.
The illithid laughed at their efforts, then the creature's final laugh faded away as it instantly dematerialized, leaving the group to wheel around in random directions in the hopes that they may find the cowardly creature and kill it. Suddenly, the group turned around to see kris stumbling around with a bewildered look on his face and with the nefarious illithid in tow who was bent over and closing the distance between the two.
Thekt roared with anger and hurled himself at the creature. He grappled it to the ground, crushing its fleshy neck. It tried to cast it's mind spell on him, but Thekt whipped off his helmet and smothered the thing's face. It struggled, and struggled some more. Eventually no more movement could be seen. Thekt got up, breathing heavily.
"Got the bastard, what do we do now?"
Sorry if I ended it a little abruptly, but it was getting a tad old.
No problem, it was kind of annoying me and since it was a boss i had no idea of what to do next. Ive never really depicted ilithids as ivincible either because whenever i play a roleplay game they are actually easy to kill. If anything i should be thanking you, i didnt know what to put next.
Suddenly a distant rumble could be heard from the distance and the group was engulfed by a blinding white light, which had come upon them almost instantly. For the moment they could see or hear nothing, but the blinding colour had slowly begun to steadily dissipate revealing a more natural environment...
