I normally don't mind other people watching me play games. In fact, since I grew up with three younger brothers, I've got so used to it that I barely notice it anymore if, say, my girlfriend or mates are doing it. The only pet peeve I have is if I'm playing an RPG with talking cutscenes I hate, hate, other people talking over it; so usually I enforce a no speaky rule. Unless its Eternal Sonata. Then me and my girlfriend just sit there mocking it Unskippable style.

As long as you stay out of the way of the TV and don't bark orders at me telling me to what what I'm already trying to do, then I don't mind.

try not to bore your friends by playing Fighting Games all day that they don't like.

I had a friend that ACTUALLY tried to kill me after a day of playing Virtua FIghter 4 in his room by myself.

Don't give me suggestions if they're STOOPID!
I'd rather run around for an hour trying to find a key than have you say that that REPEATED TEXTURE OF A ROCK is the thing I'm looking for.

I hate being asked questions by someone watching, when I'm busy such as in combat or trying to learn the plot myself.

I'll Alt Tab, go to YouTube and search for one of those "jumper" then tell the person to watch it. Always makes bystanders crap their pants and leave the room.

It depends entirely on what the person(s) watching me is doing, if they're coming with constant comments on how bad I play they're free to leave, if they're quiet I see no reason to get them to go away. And if I want them to leave I will tell them so, I'm not a very subtle person :p

My 360 controller has scratches on it with a few red stains in them due to people standing in the way of my television or yelling things such as "OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO DEAD! YOU'RE DEAD! YOU'RE GONNA DIE!!!!" *FWAK*. The worst thing though is when people tell you what to or not to do. I hate it. My friend did that on RE5, Borderlands, and Modern Warfare2. Whenever I get the chance on FPS games now he'll be trying to do something to do and I'll yell "FRIENDLY FIRE!" and lob a grenade at him.

I don't like people watching when I'm gaming because it always makes me feel as if I'm boring them. I like watching people play though, it's like watching a movie, only probably better.

Personally, I do not care, as long as they do THIS:
1: Shut the f**k up
2: Stand still
3: do not touch

I don't mind people watching me play a single player game, in fact I quite enjoy having someone to talk to about what has just occurred on screen. If I'm playing online multiplayer, well anyone looking over my shoulder can fuck right off.

There are a few reasons why they can fuck right off, the first being that most people who are willing to sit and watch me play Gears or COD for a while do not actually play very often and therefore do not understand exactly why that guy is a "fucking noob" for camping with a noob tube or chain-sawing me 3 times in a row, just because it's part of the game doesn't make it ok to do it over and over.
The second reason why they can fuck right off is that when I rage they always look at me strangely and tell me to "settle down, it's only a game" no it is NOT only a game and I WILL get pissed off and rage!
The third and final reason these people can fuck right off is that having someone watch you play a game you are generally quite good at has this kind of pressure that if you don't end up with a kd of 30-3 like you are always bragging about (regardless of your overall kdr) then they will not actually believe you are that good. I'd rather take a picture with my phone of my 80-1 ownage and show you later.

I never know what to do, should I explain what I am doing? Try to find a two player mode? Shut up and play? Hmm

And when they ask questions that are being answered by the dialogue they're talking over.

"Hey who i-" "SHUT UP DAMNNIT, I'M PLAYING THIS GAME." "but-" "HE WAS JUST EXPLAINING! SHUT UP AND LISTEN."

NO TOUCHY!
Words I can deal with, and always tell you to just shut up, but if you touch me in any way that distracts me, then I have to get up and put your head in the nearest blender. Lets face it, that kills the immersion.

I don't mind if it's a console game, after all my consoles are in the lounge so everyone can enjoy them, so long as they don't tell me how to play.

On my computer though, I don't like people watching me, it's called a Personal Computer for a reason.
