Do to the rumored change in architecture, Xbox 360 discs won't be compatible with the new system. I can't say that I'm surprised at all, but this coupled with the rumored always on internet connection requirement will keep me from getting one. It is cool that console makers are trying to use x86 architecture which is easier to code for, but I've got limited space and don't really want to have to hook up a bunch of different machines to play an older game.
What does the Escapist think about this if it turns out to be true?
Will you still buy the Nextbox, or does turn you away from the console?
