"We need to get out of here. This can't keep going like this. I won't die like some...thing under this."

This world could be considered the pinnacle of all evolutions of living, technology, and society. It would be a fantastic place to learn all sorts of skills, practice or learn magic, experience new and exciting species, new ways of using different types of tech, and almost worlds of possibilities. A world that had conflict like any world, but it was not all consuming, and there were many areas of peace and business...

But, as it was stated, it COULD be a pinnacle of evolution. Instead, it is a place of survival, an open prison, and a place where you are either accepting your fate, or trying to escape from it. While this world has races and people from all walks of life, it is all patrolled by a single being. Some would call this being a monster, or a tyrant wanting to play with toys. Some even would guess that it is actually a guardian which has lost its mission and now seeks to keep the populace safe from any outside influence.

Whatever the case, this thing has been stomping around for many eons now. While many of the cities, groups, and civilizations have quietly accepted the cruel fate that has been put on themselves, there are still others which seek to escape. While some have publicly tried to do their escape, meeting with minimal success due to at times being plucked out of the sky by the monster itself, and sometimes less that great things happening to those that were mildly successful in their attempts to teleport away. The odd creature?s fascination with changing the ways its inhabitants live (or usually die) especially when attempting to escape is the fate that everyone else on the planet is doing their best to avoid. Whatever drives the creature, whatever powers it, and whatever it is ultimately made of doesn't seem to matter, as no matter what people have attempted to avoid it, to fight it, or trap it, seems to be met with one failure after another. The fact remained the same: the only way to outdo the creature is to simply escape the planet.

And escape you must. You are driven to escape, having been stuck here by some method or another. And for whatever reasons, you are now going to find a way off this rock. Flying, teleporting, dimensional rift, black hole, FTL drive, whatever method that can be considered to escape, is a way you can seek to get out.

But it is never that simple, and the creatures of the planet, as well as The One watching over the inhabitants to make sure there is no escape for many of the denizens. Ships are largely unheard of, not in working order, or hidden to a point in which none can find them. It will take some work, some luck, and some time to get away from this world.

Escape you must, or be stuck on this planet for the rest of your days.

1. I'm more than happy to take any and all applicants. However, keep in mind that you are NOT going to be invincible to The One, you will NOT be having an ability making you immune to his effects, and WON'T simply be leaping off the planet.

2. When it comes to characters, I am more than willing to give free reign. All sorts of powers, personalities, mindsets, and all that fun stuff. HOWEVER, there are still guidelines that I am holding to and if you refuse to simply abide by them, I would rather not deal with these tendencies in the RP.

3. You will be being hunted for. Depending on how fast things are going in the RP, I will be having The One moving onward, killing those who have chosen their path of escape poorly (having very foolish ideas on how to do so) and also finding new subjects with which to change the lifestyle of (lacking posting for about 2 weeks will get your character "changed", meaning they will now be an ordinary denizen and hoping that is all that will happen to them.

4. My logic IS LAW. Meaning that if I decide that your attempt at making some kind of super weapon that somehow kills The One is an absolute failure and you are turned into a rat, you are going to have to live with it. You can ask me in PM if you want, but if I decide ultimately that I am done, then I am done.

As stated before the world is the center of all sorts of advancements. From magical manipulations to technical augmentations, all sorts live on this planet, with many more species calling it home, either because of being trapped or simply accepting their fate and trying to do their best to make a life over the many years. All sorts with all sorts of skills live here, from the accomplished swordsman to the gunslinger to the magic user to the cyborg. All can be found here, all with varying levels of skill.

There are cities dotted around the globe, with all kinds of different climates, customs, and places to visit, the world is a living clash of cultures. From castles to superhighways, all sorts of differing homes and places. Whatever you are, whatever your race, and whoever you are, you have a place somewhere.

You will be starting on a small island, with a tiny town with little more than a few small bars and shops. Otherwise, little worth noting there otherwise, other than yourself ending up there for the period of time you choose...There are some small ports and even a small airport there with which to get off the island, as largely the island is just a small port for those willing to take a break from their travels to other cities, or a small tropical vacation spot with little to note. For now, you are able to take a drink and relax for a bit, but don?t take too long. You are not safe here, just as you are not safe anywhere for long.

Name: Juda Arc

Race: Jarlac. They are a technologically advanced race that were forced to flee from their home, and the fleets got separated over the years. Now they're scavanging what they can find as they explore new parts of space, or return to old ones to gather resources. They are cat-like and fairly small in general, but without tails.

Sex: Male

Age: 25

Profession: Cargo Worker

Equipment: Juda carries a large survival pack with him which resembles a large black sack which he keeps what belongings they have in. Inside are a bag of securing clips along with several hundred feet of carbon-fiber cording among other kinds of rigging, basic tools to maintain his cybernetics such as machine oils, various sizes of wrench and screwdrivers, as well as a 'Crab Claw' cutter tool: A pneumatic cutter, fashioned in the same shape as its namesake which is designed to slip over the side of his arm for cutting cables of various size and strength.

As a 180cm tall, muscular cyborg, Juda appears to be anything but an average Jarlac, and yet that is exactly what he is in almost every respect. Due to an accident that claimed his legs and right arm, he now has cybernetic replacements, from just above his knees at each leg, and his entire right arm at the shoulder. All three cybernetic limbs are a dull gunmetal grey, as well as rather skeletal, with the inner structure being plain to see. While his robotic hand ends in much the same way as his normal one, it is thicker, with longer fingers, and his feet end with several large metal talons which he walks on, being digitigrade after his 'modifications'.

Like all male Jarlac, he is covered in more bristly fur, in his case a darker amber tone than his sister Sieran's, and his face is longer, narrower, ending in a snout, unlike hers. His ears are long and somewhat beaten up, causing them to usually lie back against his head, while his dull-gold eyes are sharper than they seem. His body, however, is slowly but surely bearing more similarities to his cybernetics thanks to metal mesh being used to mend most of the wounds he had gotten in the crash.

For clothes, he wears a simple ship workers jumpsuit: Thick, baggy and a dingy brown, with short sleeves and short legs that end just below the start of his artificial legs. It's front is covered with pouches and pockets for various tools. In addition, he wears a single glove on his normal left hand, also thick and brown, to protect his hand.

Born on the Jarlac colony ship C.P.S. Tarsonis, Juda had almost been the definition of the average child, though even then he had been patient and quiet. He was raised alongside his younger brother, and eventually younger sister Sieran, by their parents. His childhood, overall, was normal, if somewhat boring, particularly due to his tendency to stay back and keep to himself, though after his siblings were born he took to keeping an eye on them even at an early age.

In school, even though he applied himself, his grades were middle of the pack with no flash and no bad marks, which only served to continue his pattern of steadily coasting through life. However, as the eldest of the Arc children, he pushed his brother and sister to excel, and was particularly proud of his sister, Sieran, as she had the highest grades of the three.

While their brother drifted to another part of the ship to find work of his own, Juda decided to work with cargo, seeing as he was strong and had steady hands, and his sister moved to engineering.

It was a year after starting his job as a cargo loader that a horrible accident struck: While moving some particularly heavy containers of spare machinery, several unsteady stacks of crates finally collapsed under their own weight, taking the loader he was in with them. In his attempt to escape the avalanche, he ended up having his legs from the knee down crushed, as well as his right arm. But he survived.

Since he could hardly stand letting himself become a cripple and withering away, he opted to have his ruined limbs replaced with cybernetics. It took several weeks of intensive surgery, as well as an additional year of physical therapy before he could function properly again, but the moment he was able, he was straight back to work without another word. As he adjusted to the new cybernetics, his sister took the chance to examine them, and even go so far as to experiment on them, with the single rule that she would put them back the way they were if what she tried didn't work.

It was some time after he returned to work that things slid back into normalcy, except he had learned of a personal project that both his sister Sieran and a friend of hers had taken on in secret: Repairing and refurbishing an almost ancient shuttle nearing decommission. After giving her a few quiet warnings to be careful, he decided to help as their muscle, and by the time she had gotten it functional again, she insisted on putting it through its paces in a test run.

Juda had warned against it, but knew that once Sieran had gotten an idea in her head, it was hard to get it out, so being the coolest head of the three, he decided to go along to keep an eye on her. Unfortunately, he had no idea how wrong things would turn out. The shuttle was in worse shape than any of them had thought, and on its first run it had crashed on a nearby planet, one that the C.P.S. Tarsonis had deemed unsuitable for colonization.

The crash itself claimed the life of Sierans friend, while nearly claiming his own thanks to numerous injuries. Thankfully, however, his sister had been safe due to being strapped in tight into the pilots seat. After they escaped the wreckage with all they could carry, his wounds were treated as best as was possible before they worked on figuring out their next step.

They were stuck on an unknown, unexplored planet, and it was already populated. But the local fauna and inhabitants weren't exactly friendly.

Made in conjunction with Wenseph's upcoming character. I hope the sheet isn't too long, and I hope you'll allow siblings!

Name: Sieran Arc

Race: Jarlac. They are a technologically advanced race that were forced to flee from their home, and the fleets got separated over the years. Now they're scavanging what they can find as they explore new parts of space, or return to old ones to gather resources. They are cat-like and fairly small in general, but without tails.

Sex: Female

Age: 19

Profession: Engineer

Equipment: A toolbelt with various tools for repairing and creating equipment. A salvage kit, to get materials from things that no longer work. A modified welding torch, that also works as a flamethrower.

Appearance: Sieran is 155cm tall and weighs around forty kilogram. Her body is covered in an orange soft fur with darker spots. Her body is slender and cat-like. Two of her fangs protrude from under her upper lip, but she doesn't look that threathening anyway. She has pointy ears and yellow eyes. She has a wide-brimmed hat on her head, with a red feather adorning it. Her black coat and pants are tattered and worn, but still able to keep her warm. Her grey boots can walk through snow and water without her feet getting wet.

Bio: Sieran was born on the C.P.S. Tarsonis. One of the few large spaceships of the Jarlacs', with a population of some hundred thousands. It was one of the original spaceships that managed to escape when their homeplanet was invaded and conquered by another race, threehundred years ago.

Sieran grew up in a medium sized family, with two other siblings, a mother and a father. She went to school and lived a rather normal life. It made her long for something more, but as she grew up she eventually settled for becoming an engineer on the C.P.S. Tarsonis. She excelled in her studies, and built a number of inventions, which rarely had a useful purpose, but worked anyway.

She started working in the hangar, to repair scout- and fighter ships that protected the C.P.S. Tarsonis.

Eventually she got her hands on a shuttle that was going to be decommissioned, because it was too old. Sieran worked on it in secret, and hoped that maybe she could one day use it to explore the rest of the universe, if she worked hard enough to fix it up.

One of her brothers got into an accident, and had parts of his body replaced with robotic parts. It gave Sieran the opportunity to learn more about how cyborgs functions, and try some of her own ideas on them.

Sieran got help from a friend with her shuttle project and they finished it. She almost had to drag the friend with her, as she insisted that they needed to try it out and travel somewhere new. Her brother came with them as well.

The shuttle didn't get far, before it crashed on a planet. The friend that had helped Sieran died in the crash, but she survived and so did her brother.

Always good to see a bit of collaboration going on here. While I do not quite see how the cybernetics are in texasJokers character, it all seems relatively in order. Just need some more people.

Awesome! As for Juda's cybernetics, I'm not sure I can find a very good reference as to how I would want them to look, and I have no artistic skill whatsoever. At least, not drawn, in any case.

Still, I'm hoping that there's some more sheets so we can get started!

I'm considering copy/pasting a sheet that I entered in another RP, but I'll need some questions answered first:

1. Are our characters allowed to be children? By children, I mean "10 years of age, possibly younger".
2. What era/technological level is this, and if there is interstellar travel, how common is it?
3. Speaking of interstellar shenanigans, do we pick/create a "race", or has that been specified somewhere I missed?
4. In terms of magic, would a character aping a D&D druid be allowed?

Name: Currently, the A.I. has no name.

Race: Artificial Intelligence

Sex: N/A

Age: 1

Profession: Helper A.I.

Equipment: The main body of the A.I. can open up to allow for storage of various kinds of equipment, which it does not have quite yet apart from several pieces of scrap metal.

Appearance: It merely takes a quick glance to tell that the A.I. isn't any kind of organic life form, no effort having been made to make it seen as such at all. It's main body is thick and smooth, coloured white and shaped like an oval, with four legs coming out of each 'corner' of the oval. The legs are long and stick-like, going out in each direction before a joint which sends the rest of the limbs to the ground, with the feet being four pointed pieces of metal going out in four different directions.

The A.I.'s arms are white, again, while being long and thick. They reach out a rather large distance, looking almost 'muscular' if described by organic standards, and have a joint at the typical place for most life forms. Its hands built to be as much like human hands as possible and as such look very akin, while keeping the colour of the rest of the A.I.'s body with a remaining 'robotic' look.

Its head is spherical and has a single circular optical system placed in the centre which changes colour as the A.I. sees fit. Just below this eye is a speaker built for the A.I. to be able to communicate with other life forms, while at the side of the head two tiny black microphones are placed to act as its ?ears?.

The A.I. typically comes to a height of 6'5" when it is normally standing, but should it stretch out it's legs it is capable of reaching up to 7'5", while weighing a total of 200kg. It should be noted that due to the way the A.I. was put together he is capable of turning his head and arms to face the other way at will.

Bio: Created by a Human Roboticist by the name of Jack Bridgestone, the nameless A.I. was created to be an aid to help the man to escape the planet by any means possible. Throughout the process of creating the A.I. he gathered and installed all data that he believed would be necessary in some way to escape into it, having already created the blueprints for his body and having readily programmed his A.I. to be automatically built and put together by machines.

However it was when Jack was out gathering information that The One noticed that the information that he was gathering would aid in escape and took action against him, catching the roboticist and killing him before he had any chance of going further with his plans. However The One did not discover that Jack was putting together the A.I. and the artificial life form was slowly put together by the machines over a long period of time.

Eventually the body was completed and the machines automatically installed the A.I. into it, giving birth to it even though its creator was long dead. However the A.I. still had a decent amount of information about its creator and, due to Jack's pre-programming, already knew the purpose of its creation. To escape the planet.

Noting that the last time Jack had interacted with the creation process was long ago it deducted, correctly, that he had already been dealt with by the One. However this did not alter its prime directive, Jack having not specified to escape with him, and set about planning a way to leave the planet. He had no other goals and he made no plans for anything after escaping, should he succeed, for nothing of the sort was programmed into him. He lives only for his prime directive.

I do hope everything is up to scratch, please tell me any way I can improve if otherwise.

1. I will allow children, but I hope you realize that you can't expect a kid to have too much success in escaping the planet. Even the smartest of kids will have a hard time simply just getting to a point where there is a possibility of escape.

2. The era of tech is cybernetic. High tech computers, cybernetics, jets, and all sorts of things. Elsewhere? Interstellar travel is somewhat common, but you won't be simply jumping to that here.

3. You are allowed to pick/create whichever race you wish. I will have to look over the race, of course, but you are being given relatively free choosing in what you want.

4. A druid? Sounds reasonable enough, as long as I understand the right kind of druid. Would need to see the sheet to verify, but I can see no issue with it.

@Nomad of the Stars: An interesting choice, actually. Unique, and I can appreciate that. All looks good here, even if it isn't well equipped with much. Looking forward to this.

Name: Lee' Dur

Race: Daemon, a savage nomadic race of warriors, like a cruel, slightly more intelligent version of the Homo-Erectus. This one has been called a freak by his species, but many can recognize it as the next step in their evolution. As he is restarting society, all he has is basic traps made to trap animals.

Sex: Male

Age: 14

Profession: Shaman of Nova

Equipment: Has none, but seems knowledgeable of all things alchemy. His body has natural poisons, flight, and claws that can cut some metal if he needed to. His bite can all but sever a limb, and his eyesight is like that of an eagle.

Appearance: It looks somewhat like other Daemons, humanoid with a few noticeable differences, the first being its' build. It's tall (Roughly 6'1), with a bad hunch, and slender, as though malnourished. It has black skin, like a shark. Like a shark it has a large mouth that covers most of his face, and emerald eyes on the sides of it's head, giving it a wider field of view. Unlike a shark, it has wicked claws, webbed wings, and a forked, cylindrical tongue that contains a healthy dose of venom.

Unlike many members of its' species, it has a spark of intelligence behind his cruel eyes, and not entirely sadistic. His claws are shorter, barely 6 inches for each finger, and his wingspan is larger, roughly 5 feet, and seems more muscular. His freakish height in comparison to his brothers is also a noticeable difference.

Bio: Lee' Dur was born a weak, and frail creature, but managed to earn his keep, roaming the large asteroid his species call home. It was a barely useful hunter, only skilled with tracking. As thus, they abandoned him on the first planet they could, with the rest of the rejects, and ran away as fast as they could.

It was with these 'Rejects' that he found purpose, as a leader and a thinker.

Alone, he managed to build a small society on the planet, in the outskirts of civilization. He built a government so he could rule them, religion so he could control them, and even a crude language they all use.

Still, it was not enough to save them from the wrath of The One. They could not capture it, could not kill it, could not cripple it. Could not HARM it in any way. They have exhausted their will to fight, now they seek to run. Lee' Dur, and his 10 remaining brethren seek to escape this monster so that they can continue their existence, and hopefully create an empire.

Name: Fromanzio, the Demon Jester

Race: Demon Jester

Sex: Male

Age: Lost track

Profession: None

Equipment: Tons of illusion magic, varying explosives, the ability to create more explosives, the ability to fly and teleport short distances, healing magic and finally he can turn invisible. Finally, he can shapeshift.

Appearance: Fromanzio wears a brightly colored jester outfit from the time he was a human. It is purple and black in color, with golden sparkles cast randomly about. His face is a ghostly white and his eyes are a terrifying orange color. His teeth are sharpened to a wicked point and his shoes curl up.

Overall, Fromanzio is at first glance, a fairly whimsical figure. Upon talking to him the suspicion is confirmed. There is however, a dark side to the clown that one can only hope to never uncover.

Bio: Fromanzio has lived a long and complicated life. On an earth similar to ours, Fromanzio lived as an enforcer for a black market. During a routine mission for one of them, he pissed off an Ent and got himself impaled. Dying and without much time, a demon that had been stalking him made a deal with Fromanzio. Give up his soul for eternal life. Fromanzio took it in a heartbeat and became a demon.

In a very short amount of time, Fromanzio became extraordinarily powerful. His mad desire for destruction leading to the eventual burning of the entire nation the Ent resided in. Eventually, the gods themselves became aware of his rampage and while they didn't feel killing him was right, as that was a mortal affair, they instead sent him to Planescape.

Inside Planescape, Fromanzio eventually ended up going to a multitude of worlds. There are doors that lead to any world one could imagine and Fromanzio had all of them at his fingertips...kind of. See, none of them are labeled so in reality, Fromanzio takes leaps and bounds into random worlds and the one he is currently in just happens to have come at the luck of the draw. So here he is, stuck and looking for a way out.

This sounds a lot like Ravenloft. I have always wanted to send this character to Ravenloft. Consider me in.

This RP is really interesting, but I just have two questions.

1. How emphasized will character interaction be?

2. This may sound stupid, but is The One a physical creature or some sort of omnipresent force?

Name: Sylvia Frostpaw

Race: Anthropomorphic Siberian tiger

Sex: Female

Age: 24

Profession Assassin

Equipment: She carries a standard looking katana, though it is strengthened to cut through a lot more than a normal one would. She tries to keep it sharp whenever she can with a special stone to do just that which she keeps in a small bag that hangs on the belt on her jeans. She is also capable of ice magic which she uses to freeze and slow down her enemies, but she can also use it to shoot beams of ice and quickly shoot balls of ice from her palms.

Appearance: Sylvia, being a Siberian tiger, has white fur with black stripes all over her body. She has amber eyes and black hair that reaches down to her lower back which she keeps in a ponytail most of the time. She wears blue jeans which are ripped in places, and a white t-shirt that is also ripped in places, though fortunately not anywhere unfortunate. Not that there would be anything to see since her fur covers her naughty parts if she were to go naked. She also wears a leather jacket that she keeps open and fingerless gloves along with black shades, all simply for the coolness factor. She doesn't actually wear any footwear because she doesn't need it, her feet having walked enough for her to be mostly immune to things like how cold snow is or anything that would hurt the delicate feet of unprotected human feet, and for her profession it makes for better stealth.

Bio: Sylvia was born on a planet where various tribes of anthropomorphic animals lived all over the planet, with various kinds of animals and each tribe consisting of one kind of animal, hers obviously being the tiger tribe which consisted of both Siberian ones and normal ones. The planet was fairly advanced, resembling something out of cyberpunk, but there were still some parts of the planet covered in plant life. Everyone had a job, though some jobs were more obscure than others, such as Sylvia's eventual assassin job. There were also occurrences of magic here and there around the planet, but only a few select could actually use it effectively, though everyone was allowed to try it out if they wanted to.

Some tribes were at war with each other over power, others were at war over disagreements and the rest didn't want to have anything to do with it. Sylvia's tiger tribe was one of the stronger tribes and they wanted more power for themselves. So, Sylvia grew up with that she needed to be powerful, and she needed to be strong, training every day from a young age, eventually taking on the art of the sword with her preferred weapon being a katana. Until her 18th birthday when she discovered that she had been granted the gift of magic when she took the magic test everyone on the planet did at the age of 18. Her particular magic had to do with ice, hence the last name she took on herself later on once she had improved her skill with it significantly.

Sylvia took on the job of an assassin when her leaders asked her to become one after she'd shown how skilled her combat abilities were, both with her katana and with her magic. She gladly took on the job, going to tribes they were at war with and taking out powerful figures within them one by one, lowering morale within those tribes so that they could be invaded easier. She was stealthy to the point of being unheard when she traveled around and she was usually equipped with gadgets to be able to get past whatever security system had been installed in the buildings she invaded. Her magic came in use for when she triggered an alarm and guards would come to attack her, being useful for freezing them if she wasn't going to kill them, or blast them with her ice beam if she was going to kill them.

This continued for a long while until she failed a mission she was carrying out, or rather, she fell into a trap. Sylvia was captured and put on trial for all the crimes she had done for her leaders against the other tribes, and her punishment wasn't death, but to be sent into outer space, strapped tightly inside it so she wouldn't be able to escape where she was supposed to live out her remaining days until she would die. However, fate had other things in mind for her as the small spaceship/cell drifted towards a planet which did not bode well for anyone. The ship/cell crashed, but Sylvia survived mostly unharmed except for some wounds and scratches. However, she would soon learn that this was not a hospitable planet and she would need to do everything she could to live.

Name: Connor Sarnesh

Race: Human

Sex: Male

Age: 40

Profession: Vampire Hunter, Physician, Surgeon

Equipment: Silver crucifix hanging around his neck, a sextet of ashwood stakes strapped in a bandolier around his chest, a pair of revolvers loaded with silver bullets on either hip with more cartridges (half lead, half silver) in a second bandolier parallel to the first, a canteen of holy water on his belt next to a pouch filled with garlic, a maple wood rosary tied around his left wrist, the Holy Bible tucked into a pocket of his vest, a pair of tomahawks with ashwood grips that come down to points, a silver dagger strapped to his right leg under his pants.

In a satchel he carries contains a number of tools - a bone saw, a number of scalpels, rubbing alcohol, sutures, and a magnifying glass. In a pocket on the outside of the satchel contains a notebook and a charcoal pencil.

Appearance: Connor, as of his arrival, is making little effort to conceal his work. He's wearing the under parts of a reasonably nice suit - black trousers, white shirt, black vest. The gentlemanly image is marred by the unconcealed weapons he carries nakedly - the tomahawks strapped to his back, the bullets and stakes on his front, the guns at his hips. Despite his weaponry, he has a gentlemanly look to him, his face pleasant and rather friendly-appearing, his brown hair cut short and businesslike, his face clean-shaven, his brown eyes obscured behind glasses. He's stout and sturdily built. A number of scars are visible along his body - a large, circular scar along his ribs, four long, deep ones along his left hand, and a long, gently curving scar across his forehead.

Bio: London circa 1860 was not a pleasant place. Even besides the smog, darker powers than the Victorian humans preyed upon Humanity. One man faced this evil and survived only through the strength of faith - not his, but the faith of his wife, her rosary the tool he needed to repel the Vampire attacking them - too late for his wife and child. He was Connor Sarnesh, physician and surgeon.

With the death of his family and the revelation of the true darkness lurking in the darkness, Connor took up a new profession, retiring from his work as a physician - claiming that he was consumed by grief and unable to continue, but in truth he was consumed by something darker and more potent than grief - revenge. Every book, every text on Vampires he could find he studied, he learned their weaknesses, their strengths, every detail he could find. He studied battle, and spent every shilling of his not inconsiderable resources into training and arming himself. And when he was ready, he struck, tracing a string of exsanguination deaths throughout the city to an estate. At high noon, he launched his assault, breaking through the front door.

The battle was enormously bloody - a rookie Vampire Hunter with more weapons than he knew what to do with and the element of surprise against a house full of sleeping Vampires and their slaves. A vicious and bloody battle ensued that lasted to near dusk, but in the end only Connor walked out of that house alive - bleeding from numerous wounds, but victorious, with four Vampires dead in his wake, and London that much safer.

Since then he has grown in skill and in wisdom much, and has continued his crusade. Most recently he has been pursuing the Vampire sorceress Morgana, her attempt to escape his wrath magically casting them both across realms - Connor arrived here. Morgana's fate is uncertain.

Oddly, you write as if your character was brought to the planet and then abandoned there, which is....well, for the most part impossible. They would either get stuck here, or just drop you off and run for it. And....who is Abaddon? I think you might need to look your sheet over a bit, its kinda inconsistent. Claws that rip through metal, poisons from all over, and wings. No explanation of technology understanding or anything like that, which is somewhat important for what you are about to undertake.

This sounds a lot like Ravenloft. I have always wanted to send this character to Ravenloft. Consider me in.
Seems okish enough. Just one thing though, the teleportation and "World Jumping"? Those have GOT to go. Not very trapped on this world if those are things that he did on a regular basis before. Otherwise, seems to work from an entrance standpoint.

This RP is really interesting, but I just have two questions.

1. How emphasized will character interaction be?

2. This may sound stupid, but is The One a physical creature or some sort of omnipresent force?
1. Character interaction will depend on your fellow players, of course. If some of you want to create a new ship and escape, then you would no doubt band together to do that over a group of magic users trying to make a portal to escape.

2. The One is a Physical entity. Having an omnipresent force would make it impossible to escape, as The One would simply KNOW what was going on and stop you just because he could. No worries though, it is a valid concern.

Ah, catpeoples. I do like how they decided to simply send you into space though. It all seems to work so far, but good luck in attempts to get off the planet.

Vampire hunter? Might have some fun on this planet, with a few vampire-like creatures roaming about. Course, that might be more of an inclination to stay than it is to go. Though, perhaps The One wondering what he would be like being the thing he hunted would work could be enough encouragement to leave. But, seems mostly fine.

I meant to name him Abaddon, then realized I couldn't as he's not a demon, and I don't know how I missed that one. I think I said they dropped him and all the other rejects of society off, and ran like fucking hell. As for tech, he has none other than basic traps.

I'll go back over my sheet though.

Name: Kara Grissom

Race: Human

Sex: Female

Age: 31

Profession: None (former soldier)

Equipment: Advanced armor that automatically repairs light damage and can easily protect the user from many attacks while still providing complete mobility. However, the armor is not indestructible. She wears modified boots that produce no noise when walking, running, etc., and always carries a medium sized knife that can easily cut through nearly anything.

Appearance: Almost always wears her camouflaged armor, and when she doesn't, she wears a plain grey T-shirt and jeans. She openly carries her knife in a holster on her right side. Her right arm is replaced by a sleek cybernetic replacement. She has brown eyes and her light brown hair comes down to the middle of her neck. Her build is slim and muscled. She's always tensed and ready to either attack or defend, with one hand always near her knife, while still appearing relaxed.

Bio: Born on Earth in the United States, Kara led a normal life in her early years. When she was eighteen, she joined the military and became part of a program to colonize a new planet. She departed when she was 21 and arrived at the new planet when she was 23. Her job, along with 9 million other soldiers, was to scout the entire planet and make sure it was acceptable for colonization. Soon after they arrived, however, they encountered resistance. Large, bipedal, sentient creatures that were twice as tall as a man and many times stronger. They were incredibly agile and durable, and were very aggressive. The soldiers immediately viewed them as a threat, and started to exterminate them.

Kara hated that the army was trying to drive the creatures to extinction, so she deserted. She decided to stop the soldiers from attacking the aliens, but she couldn't do so without help. She looked for an alien that would help her efforts, and found one that would join her. Before she could do move forward with her plan, she got caught in an explosion that tore off her right arm. Because no one knew she deserted, she was able to get it replaced with a cybernetic arm. As she and the alien went on with their plan, they met heavy resistance. Knowing she could never win in a straight fight, she gradually adopted stealth as a means of eliminating resistance.

Her original plans were not successful, but by the end of three years, the army had lost so many soldiers that they were forced to leave. Of the original 9 million soldiers, less than 100 of them survived the end of the war, and of the 3,000 or so natives on the planet, the one that teamed up with Kara was the last survivor. Kara and the surviving humans set a course back to Earth, where she was awaiting a trial for her crimes. However, as soon as she arrived, she escaped. She snuck onto a ship headed to an unknown planet. She knows her life will never go back to normal, but she hopes that life will be better here than it would have been on Earth. Little does she know that she is very, very wrong.

Hm. Future soldier huh? Will be interesting to see how they play with all the other individuals that they will run into here. But perhaps they will be prepared for that. Looks good.

What do you all think?

Just a simple question. What exactly is it? It can't have been here BEFORE The One, because he would have made sure this thing would have been taken care of ruining villages and the like and consuming a large amount of life forms. If it is a portal being of sorts, then it doesn't have a problem escaping in the first place. Just need to have an idea of what it is before I accept or deny it.
