Incidentially, most gamers are certainly not fat bastards.
Me neither. Half because it is boring (I only have my brother to run with, and I don't want to go running with him), and half because my neighbourhood is filled with large dogs (and running alone through streets where every second/third house has a territoial dog that could kill me just makes me nervous. If I had someone to run with, then it wouldn't be a problem, because a)strength in numbers, and b) it means I am less likely to be taken by surprise)
I mostly lift weights and train my body in a different way,
Though to be honest, if you do endurance training you get better blood flow to your muscles as well as a higher lactate threshold, meaning you can get more power for longer if you combine both types of training.

Yea, I'll run when it's warmer out but I usually bike instead when working out outside. It can be really relaxing, though, after you go out and do it enough that youre no longer focused on how physically tired you are, build up some muscle and improve your cardio health it becomes much more fun and easier to make yourself do it. The initial hurdle is the challenge.

I ran a lot this past year and wound up with shin splints like a week ago. I have to say the stationary bikes at the gym are not as fulfilling as running.

Also, I run a lot from ultimate frisbee.

I started running a couple months ago because I'm trying to lose weight. Right now I go three miles in about 24min. I'm going to start going to 3.5 soon.

I haven't been able to run this week though because my ankle has been bothering me and I got salmonella. At least I picked a good time to get food poisoning so my ankle could rest.

I'm down 25 pounds! WOOT!

I just can't run I get winded after 2-3 minutes, but I can walk just fine.
Usually you can run a lot longer than you think. The first couple minutes of working out are the hardest. After you get over your body's initial reaction and tiredness it will actually get easier.

Running track (indoor and outdoor) at the school can do (.4X10=4) 4km while listening to... nothing after I washed the Zune, but before it was all about heavy metal with sublime mixed in. Sucks to go to a science class afterwards.

I used to run until I realised I hated it =/

But I probably hate it now because I found that runners are vein, pretentious pricks (be honest) .

)
sounds about right.

Gamers couldn't possibly be normal people that are in shape, have girlfriends and don't have neckbeards.

I'm scrawny but I can only run for, like, a minute if that before dying. Thank you, borderline superhuman metabolism. Also, the chain smoking doesn't exactly help my running ability. Once, when I got winded during a walk to Royal Farms, I said that smoking gave me a permanent debuff.

Sorry, bad day, boss is a bit of a *****...moving on.

I get my fair share of exercise in, mostly from doing 6 floors of patrols without an elevator, I really don't want to be one of those fat security guards.

I remember being in track and field in junior high. First day out and I was doing hurdles. I only ever clipped them once and that was after 2 hours of practice. I then did short distance like the 50 and the hundy.

First tournament thing they put me in:
Mile

Managed to come in last in about 6:30. I was tasting blood and ended up talking to a girl I liked. Then she left and I was stuck there for 3 extra hours.

I'm a track and cross country runner. During the cross country season I run 3 miles every week day while in the track season I'm not so sure. My best time in running a mile is 6:40.
