At the end of the game when Eli dies. I found that quite sad as the screen faded to black with Alyx crying.

That was so incredibly depressing that I walked around for the next 3 days with my mouth gaping in horror.

Agreed. I saw that happen, and my jaw hit the fucking floor. I then got angry because Valve is taking FOREVER with episode 3.

At the end, when Griggs is shot while trying to drag you to safety, and then Gaz is executed right in front of you. That ending seriously made me cry. It also looked like Price had died too, but MW2 kind of fucked that up.

Also Half-Life 2: Episode 2. That's a no-brainer.

And not even because I particularly liked Eli; I just felt so sorry for Alyx. It really does help to get me in the right state of mind for Episode 3's projected Advisor fights, though. Those fuckers are going to seriously regret ever crossing paths with the Freeman.

I actually cried when Roxas "died" even though he didn't really die per say, he just sort of stopped existing... play the game or look it up, I don't really know how to explain it.

To be honest I never quiet understood the whole fascination that people seemed to have with Roxas, I felt that I didn't get to spend enough time with him to be sad... Then I played 358/2 Days, and I really started liking him... So now I'm afraid to start up Kingdom Hearts II again for fear of how I'll react during that scene Q_Q

I always felt bad about killing Prince Stroud in Sword of Mana. My main character's only motivation was the generic 'you killed mah parents' thing, and even though it's implied, I don't think it's ever actually proven that Stroud did kill them...
Uther's death in Warcraft 3 was fairly sad...
Also, Shadow on my first playthrough of FFVI. He told me not to wait, dammit! T-T
