Kohana gathered herself, before pushing the door wide open. Despite Jeffrey's story, the room lay in complete darkness. Darkness means little before the sharingan, but the moment her gaze cut through the blackness, and the realized, what the was looking at, she wished, not for the first time in her life, for her ocular powers to be less accurate.
The crashed arcaded Jeffrey had used was there, and the panels that should have lit the room where shattered. But the worst part lay on the floor, in the middle of the room, in an steadily growing pool of red liquid. A body. Or rather, the mangled remains of a body, dressed in an old fashioned, grey uniform, the left arm, still holding a broken flashlight, manled from monstrous jaws, the right arm, and worst of all the head, missing completely.
Kohana gasped for Air sharply, only barely supressing the urge to scream for her brother - Uchiha nou osore wa jinshin ie. Uchiha nou osore wa jinshin ie.. Several quick steps took her away from the door, until she felt the corridor's wall at her back, and realized, she was mumbling the mantra under her breath.
All the training she had received, all of a sudden washed away, by sheer horror, her voice now shaking as much, as her heart was pounding.
"Don't... don't look inside. There is definately something here. Warawa nakare negai shine" (I don't want to die)
