dammit the website had to go out on me just when I had an epic post written, oh well I might as well try to recreate it.
Jeffery was taken aback at the sheer look of horror on kohana's face, he leaned down hugged her closely, in what he thought was a good attempt to comfort her, he whispered something in her ear. "don`t worry out here it can`t hurt you,I`m gonna go inside and try to find out what it is so I can find a way to kill it" Jeffery then released her and muttered the incantation for the fireball he got from his spell book before slowly opening the door, the fireball he summoned acting as a torch illuminating the darkness in front of him.
Jeffery stepped inside slowly his foot making a squelching noise against the blood soaked carpet, almost making a trail as Jeffery walked forward towards the corpse in the center of the room, he knelled down over the mangled corpse, dead bodies nothing new to him , seeing as how he was one before he became a ghost, he looked over the body rubbing his hands up and down it feeling over the bite wounds and poking around for broken bones.
"hmmm, nothing the size of a human could have made these marks, but anything bigger would have made some kind of noise moving through the ship....I need some time to think about this" Jeffery whispered to himself returning to a standing position and turning to leave, but suddenly out of nowhere a strong gust of wind blew extinguishing Jeffery`s fireball, Jeffery started panicking, he was frozen in place, the fear making it impossible to run, the situation was only made worse when he looked to the far side of the room and saw the same piercing red eyes from before they raised into the air the beast possibly leaping into the air to maul Jeffery where he was standing.
Finally managing to regain some sense of movement Jeffery recited the incantation for the fireball, it lit just in time to stop the creature dead in it`s tracks the eyes bouncing backwards as if they were a dog who hit a chain-link fence, Jeffery ran for the door as fast he possibly could and slammed it behind him leaning against it and panting the adrenaline still surging through him.
"whatever is with us, it is not fucking around" Jeffery said panting heavily
It took as much, as Jeffrey running out of the room for his life, slamming the door, to shake Kohana up.
"Are... you allright, Jeff... a violent crash sounded from inside the arcade, and for a couple of moments, both Kohana and Jeffrey held their breath'.
"You are sure, we're safe out here?", Kohana whispered, unable to movem or stop staring at the solid door, that was their only protection right now.
"The movie is really loud, uh, but I'm sure you can hear better then me, anyway, so, you wanna go check it out? We're out of popcorn, anyway." Chaz stood up and started for the door.
"I`m completely sure, what that thing is, it apparently can`t move fully into the light, the arcade had several shadows behind the machines so it was probably able to destroy the lightbulbs in the arcade, I don` think we`ll have that problem here" Jeffery said starting to regain some of his composure as he got back up to his feet.
"I need some time to think over what I saw in that room, so just stay safe until I find you" Jeffery said before walking back to the lobby and sitting back down in his booth ordering another scotch on the rocks and putting his mind to figuring out what was on this ship.
night all I need to get some sleep, it`s 4:00am here in Australia and I`m tired
Chaz threw his arm over his face. "Damn, that's bright! You're hurting my eyes here, Spot!" They walked out of the theater, but Chaz headed for the popcorn machine.
Catalina gave Chaz an odd look, completely confused as to what he was doing and still rather tipsy, not that it showed much, "Chaz, what the hell are you doing?"
"I'm hungry! Wait, I guess that doesn't really work, does it? Damn." Chaz dropped the popcorn bucket on the ground and started back to follow Catalina.
Once Kohana had pulled herself together, she hurried off to where she hoped to find the zeppelins cockpit, and therefore more crewmembers. She made it through several corridors with due haste, before stopping dead in her tracks, realizing the mistake she had made.
No lights
To the sharingan, it mattered little, wether lights in the corridor were turned on or off, and for the last two corridors, without noticing it, Kohana had run through total darkness.
She spun around, led more by instinct than actual knowledge, only to see a towering figure, with glowing red eyes, jumping in her direction, the silvery claws stretched out, ready, no eager to kill.
Two screams where to be heart all aboard the ship, a furious mix of bestial vigor, shock and agonizing pain.
Kohana lay flat on her chest, weeping in agony. Her palms desperately pressed against her eyes, thin lines of blood dripping through her fingers, unable to even move an inch.
Little more than two foot in front of her, a pool of dark, almost black blood was spilled, in it lay an arm, almost the size of the girl, with ashen gray skin, and claws instead of fingers, the shoulder section mangled as if it had been ripped out.
Large chunks of blood lead from the pool, off into the darkness, the creature was still out there, roaring, wounded, while Kohana slowly lost her senses to the pain inside her head.
"Damn, this is getting interesting! Though I wish I didn't have to leave the movie." Chaz contemplated going back to the theater, but instead went ahead and ran off to follow Catalina. "Whoa, shit! The fuck is going on here!?"
Catalina ran up to the prone form of Kohana, the globes of light filling the corridor, she shooked Kohana, a billion thoughts racing through Catalina's mind, "
A voice cut through the clouds aound her mind, but with regaining consciousness, the pain reappeared, threatening to overwhelm Kohana once more. Her voice a mere whisper, while she tried to stop the burning flood of bloody tears running through her hands.
"Itai... nasu itami teiryuu" (It hurts... make the pain stop)
