Dillon looked into the room as Carolina opened the door. "Voice commands, huh?"
It was obviously a fake excuse, but it wasn't his place to pry. Besides, he knew she was lying. He was still a faerie, after all, and he could feel more than one aura in the vicinity. "I wish she didn't feel the need to lie. Does she really think I mind? Well, I guess it's best to leave her be..."
Not wanting to interrupt whatever was going on here, he summoned a small smile and tried to think of an excuse. "Ehm, how about we take a rain-check on that movie? I, uh..........I need to get in a small bit of sleep before classes start, you know? Don't want to be falling asleep in class on the first day..."
With that, he turned and headed back to his room, shutting the door behind him and throwing himself down onto his bed. "This is gonna be a long year..."
