Speechlessness.

Maybe someone can learn from this.
Like don't give your let your friends fall asleep whilst watching Evil Dead, eating cheese, with a picture of you on the top of the television?

Thats about the only lesson I can think of.
I wanted to say something like that, but I didn't want to offend somebody who took their time to post in my thread.

That was almost funny.

REALLY bad experiences with dreams. Other people's dreams. Or more specifically, my actions in other people's dreams.
Who would hold a dream against you? o_O
Well, it turned out all right.

My best friend(then and currently) had some sort of dream where I raped her and ate her flesh. It was, apparently, extremely vivid.
So yeah.
Wow, I can't see how that's your fault though.
Oh, it wasn't. It just gave her really bad flashbacks whenever she saw my face, for a while.
Yeah, come to think of it, that would recur easily...
Ya think.

Terrible time, though. She wouldn't tell me what was going on and she was avoiding me like the plague. Made me hate my life.
Yeah, I can see where you're coming from.
It wasn't too fun.
Maybe someone can learn from this.
Yeah, probably, and it doesn't sound like it...
It's all good now though. She's my best friend again.

I had the same thing happen to me. I think it honestly is just fascination with some small detail about you that is off. Like my gloves. For some reason my gloves are fascinating to certain people.

More guys notice my hair than girls. Not that I have much of a problem with that.

Tell her you want to be friends like you were in the past.
Careful now, remember the ultimate aim of all this: marriage.

lol, but seriously, all he did was tell her to 'shut up'. I think it might sound a bit strange to apologize for such a trivial thing all those years ago (I don't how old 6th graders are supposed to be).

It might be a nice gesture but my gut instinct tells me he should carry on from the present moment rather than dig up the past.

I think if the note is the worst of your 'dickish' behaviour you might be overestimating how much of a dick you come across to people. Don't want to go the other way and be some little pedantic weed, apologizing over small things, sweating over every word you say.

If you can't drive and don't live within walking distance don't date, unless of course you have a fucking chauffeur in which case you could just buy some Thai chick.

You are telling me... I had to put my hair up in a shower cap that I use regularly to apply some benzoyle peroxide.

That worked finally. :)

I'm sorry but I find that last part incredibly offensive. I will not report you this time but don't do it again, please.

TC, you seem like you have a pretty solid grip on how to express yourself, which is a good thing and it can't be said about most 14 year olds I know of.

All you really need to do is make it clear that you find her attractive. Make very gradual and respectful physical moves on her; put your arm around her, make eye contact, smile and all that. Be clean.

Just don't get too entwined in each other. The number one thing that makes young relationships painful is the tendency for one or both parties to become more attached than they should. Emotional attraction can be a very powerful thing and if you're not careful and clear-headed it will make you do stupid things. Just don't be too serious about it.

Well lad, its been a while since I was 14, but as far as I can tell, the girl pretty strongly seems to likes you. She may be a little shy or distant, but maybe what you need to do is be honest and upfront with your feelings. I'm not suggesting putting it all out there, but I the only way you can break through this purgatory you're experienceing is to make a stand and tell the lass how you feel.

A lot of people are making this too complicated. Assuming you're giving us the whole story, she almost certainly likes you - she's just shy. If you ask her out, she'll probably say yes. It might be awkward, because she'll still probably be shy, but I am six years older than you and I still have dates like that occasionally so you can't really do anything about it.

Don't pressure her. Don't say anything about relationships or you like her or does she like you or anything like that; it's just a way to force a confrontation that will only make her uncomfortable. Go out with her (which if she likes you she will), wait for a good moment, plant one on her lips, and she'll figure it out. If it works, great, if not, plenty of other ladies out there.

You are 14, for starters. Hitting puberty normally helps with these things.
And she either likes you, or has pity for you. So only way to find out is grow a pair and ask her out or something. Either she says yes and you are happy, or she says no, and you realize how lowly the public thinks of you. Your call.

Really? Nervous flirting, hard to make conversation because you're both a bit flustered? She likes you. Might be wrong, but it definitely looks like she likes you.

Not sure when you updated the original post, but yet, I'm going with everyone else in saying I'm pretty sure she likes you. Just ask her out-you only live once!

And if she says no, then it would be amazing if we were all wrong.

Good luck!
