Yup, thought I'd just ruin it for some of you believers, yup, he doesn't exist, you've been lied to, it's one big money making scheme to swindle you of your precious cash.

Apart from that, when did you find out Santa didn't exist and what sort of spin on the theme did your parents give to you to ensure you believed it as long as you did? :)

I was always baffled as to how he came down our chimney...we didn't have one :/

Sorry but that was the first thing that came to mind when reading the topic title.

OT: I kinda blurted out I didn't believe in a bit of rage when I was naughty and Mum said he wouldn't come. Then we had the talk :( I was mortified.

You're lying! Liar!
Santa does exist ;~;
If you don't have a chimney, he comes through the gas pipes, or the plumbing ;~;

My mom was once Catholic so she used to celebrate Christmas and when she first told me about Santa when I was 3 or 4 years old she told me that I said this: "Who on Earth would be stupid enough to believe that some fat white guy in a red suit delivers presents to every kid in the world in one night?"

And then I came to America and found 10 and 11 year old who believed...lol

I think anyone young enough to find that surprising probably shouldn't have unsupervised access to the internet. Studies have shown that the brain bleach we all use (to clean away the goatse) is far too harsh for their tiny minds.

I can't remember ever believing that Santa was real. Knowing my parents they probably told me he wasn't real straight away.

My mum still pretends he exists even though I'm 18, I have to keep up a charade that I still believe that he exists, bizarrely. Also y'know he wears red because of coca cola, who branded him that way.

wow, way to make a few people depressed this holiday it's surprising how sad some people are when trying to make other people miserable so congrats on making that minority of people who believe in santa depressed I tip my hat to you

I cried when I knew for sure. Even though I suspected so.

Remidns me that afterwards when some girls in my year asked me whether or not I believed. I said no. They asked why and I refused to say, becuase I didn't want to have an effect on their belief. They kept bugging me so I gave evidence, then later they said something along the lines of me being evil, and hating me for ruining their beliefs.

i don't think santa is a money grubbing scheme
i always thought he represented good will , kindliness and giving
the entire point of christmas or something , i get all my knowledge about
him from disney so i'm probably way off course

I've always found the practice of convincing children that fictional characters exist to be rather detestable. All fun and games one might say, but then again, the child doesn't know that.

Wait are we done pretending now that pulse2 knows? Does the worldwide conspiracy to keep him in the dark about the true nature of Santa just end?
