First time I saw her was in Greg the Bunny, playing the hard-ass studio *****. I loved her in that. Next time she popped up in my radar was the "I'm fucking Matt Damon" video, which I think is genius, mainly because of the context and delivery. Next time... was the Sarah Silverman show.
I don't find it funny in the slightest, the songs aren't catchy and the jokes are vulgar, not adult. The entire thing is an infantile mess. She has her occaisional moments with potential (such as a tap-danced performance for a holocaust musical). And most of the time it's just a horrific bag of caricatures spouting off vulgarity.
I've seen a little Stand-up she's done. I know in Britain she tried to leave her first gig after a half hour because she ran out of material. Her agent made her come back on for a question and answer session, serves the unprepared ho right
I saw her doing her "paris hilton going to prison" bit right when Ma'am Hilton was in the audience, and the "Am I the only one who blames the blacks for Jesus's death" bit, which I found funny. But then I realised she just spends her ENTIRE routine's being vulgar and absurd, and only occaisionally hits the right note.
....pretty fit though. Good on Kimmel if he can shut her up long enough.
