I was reading a forum [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.92346] about something you could take from video games and bring it into the real world and a member suggested save/load capabilities.

Here are the conditions: you can save anytime and load anytime instantaneously and remember everything that happened, but no one else does. You can have multiple saves and never need to over-write any. Your physical state goes back to EXACTLY how it was when you saved, and just for the hell of it you can load even if you die.

Now the big question: What would you do if you could save and load in real-life?

Everything's fair from asking a girl out to skydiving without a parachute, and list as many answers as you'd like. I'll save mine for later on.

I laughed at the unintentional pun.

OT: I would most likely make a save now and live my life for the next ten years, and then load so that my mature mind will better comprehend my life at the moment and ensure that I make the most out of my life instead of wasting it away... which I probably will.

Wow! That must have been one of the best ideas from said thread.

*does a little dance*

Anyway. I'd like to have a saved state early on in life so that I could go and redo life once I'm finished. As for the rest... Vegas, Thailand, Drugs, and Volcanoes.

FUCK that was mine except I was going to saw for the next 30 years or so, and you're right the pun was unintentional.

save before a math test, then after getting the answers back a week later I'd re-load before hand and ace it.

Rape. In and out and nobodies the wiser. KIDDING!

Yes, there would be a very many prince of persia moments too I guess.
I would also add:
-buy some cake and eat it over and over and over and over again.
-say really innappropriate things at every oppurtunity (but wait, I already do that...)
-as I have exams coming up I'd save on the day of an exam, amuse myself until the answers are published, then go back and ace the exam.

Try every "cool moment" from every popular action film. That would be great fun, although it would be nice to know everything and see the result of all my actions and just playing around with time and space bwa ha ha

Dude, this is basically time travel right? Except you can't skip back to the future. Unless you save/load multiple realities. Wow, that could get confusing but would eliminate the problem in that Butterfly Effect movie where he only seems to get one chance. If you realize later you screwed up, go back and load again.

Anyways, I would prevent the car accident I got into. But since that seems selfish, saving my own pain, I would also like to find other wrongs to right. I COULD BE A SUPERHERO!

Assuming I don't have to be alive when re-loading, I'll jump off my tower, and see what death holds... But I won't tell anyone else what I see. :p

You'd basically be like Nicolas Cage in the movie where he could see 2 minutes into the future. I forget what it was called. So yeah. Basically a superhero.

1. Guh. Live 50 years, memorise a fantastical invention which advances science.

2. Load, and "invent", pushing science forward 50 years.

3. Rinse and repeat, until several thousnd years of human scientific advancements occur within a decade and I hold the patents to ALL of them.

4. Rule the galaxy.

Since this effectively makes yourself invincible as well, I would probably take my time and do about everything in the world.
