can we actually get a clear unbiased description of what acta is, because i dont know what to believe with all the fear mongers, the people over reacting, the people under reacting and so on.
please if your going to reply to this post dont try to convince me to your viewpoint, just tell me what acta actually is.
ive watched the videos but i somehow dont believe its that bad.

You can make anything sound good by tacking "it could help punish child molesters" on the description.

I'm just going to assume that this thing is completely exaggerated, not as bad as people are trying to make it out to be, and will never pass in any democratic state. Because that's basically what happens with every law that threatens people getting free shit on the internet and getting away with it.

Ok, it seems my government already talked about this extensively, but it was rushed through parliament before anyone could really get a second word in.
My member of parliament is basically telling me that it doesn't affect my way of life, that I should take it easy, and to let the system do it's job.
I guess this is yet another law that I throw in my "To hell with this law, and to hell with the consequences of not following this law" bin.
