Lost in Blue had pretty decent graphics for the DS.

Fire Emblem can get frustrating when you find yourself resetting the mission.

GOOD STUFF ABOUT BAD GAMES- -Halo had a really good soundtrack.
-alien vs predator has multiplayer that lets you literally rip the throats out of people that annoy you/ mic spam you.which gives me much pleasure.
-Timeshift has fun enemy death animations. especially when they explode.

BAD STUFF ABOUT GOOD GAMES- -Oblivion has about 6 voice actors, 2 of which are decent.
-commander Shepard runs way too fucking slow in mass effect 2
-MW2 campaign makes little to no sense. (but still beats BFBC 2 campaign)
-BFBC2 has strange walls that fall apart in perfect holes from grenade launcher blasts every time.

Borderlands had a decent ability tree thing.

Prototype got pretty boring after the first play through.

The Metal Gear Series has a story that has entertained it's fans for ages and mechanics that many people seem to enjoy.

The action in Mass Effect 2 was uninteresting at best and tedious at it's worst.

Halo. Driving the vehicles is pretty fun (except when it comes to if you want to look around while driving)

Doom: it does get a bit boring after a while.
Blasphemy! Of course, I am some sort of absolute sucker who has purchased Doom on PC twice, on three different consoles and on a hand held. I'm toying with trying the iPhone version. I think I may have a problem.

I think I might cry at the fact the Escapist hates things that make us more individual

Hate: Runescape, gives you tips with Money!
Love: DOW:DC, Campaign masturbates. A lot.

WoW has a decent skill tree thing. However, all the good things I can say about WoW I can get by playing D2. This was extremely hard to participate in this thread for this very reason. Yes I must stress that. Hours went in to that first sentence sadly. I despise this game.

Now to be fair, I spent the same amount of time criticizing Earthbound. All I came up with there was that the final boss fight is unintuitive to the rest of the main game. However, if you like me find that genius actually despite really being a gameplay design flaw, then I don't know.

This is honestly the game I loathe the most and the game I cherish the most. The reason they are in those positions is because this game is VERY hard for them. Not many sit beside them.

Halo: CE was an incredibly revolutionary game at the time of its release. Too bad it was such a bad game...

Half-Life 2 is a great game, but the puzzles suck. And there's only like four of them. I don't know why people give the game so much credit for that.
The original Halo wasn't bad, it's too bad hating Halo got so cool... (which really only happened because too many 12 year olds found out about it)
I wasn't a big fan of it when it first came out, but the years of putting up with twelve year fanboys hasn't helped.

Gears of War has nice graphics.

Halo 3's story expects you to know too much of the lore from the books and relies too much on geekouts from the readers (of which I am, so sucks for you).

That wasn't too hard.
It doesn't really, I had only played halo 1 and 2 when i started halo 3 and I only read started reading the books like 2 years ago.
Crap... Okay, then I'll say Arkham Asylum's end boss was horrible.

There, still not too hard.

But I did have a lot of geek moments from the throwbacks they made to the books in that game...
I liked how they used a lot of the voice actors from the animated series that ran in the 90s.
Yeah, having Luke Skywalker voice the Joker was a good move on their part. He's got such an iconic laugh, it wouldn't have been the same without him.

EDIT: Iconic's not the right word...

Bioshock, pretty much same as above, it was a gorgeous game, with a good atmosphere, the gameplay just failed.

Ninety-Nine Nights could handle a lot of units on screen.

Once you screw up a relationship on Mass Effect 2, there's no way to fix it.
