Shocking Pink Dragon Millipede, the thing can spray cyanide in your face if you're not careful. There are several kinds of cyanide, some that are completely harmless. The cyanide this thing shoots out is acidic and poisonous, is gaseous at a bit above room temperature (and where they live, it's a bit above room temperature). Meaning that you get an acidic poison gas sprayed in your face if you get near it. I do not wish to think of what would happen to your lunges if you breathe that in :p

My kitten, it is evil as hell and will attack anything that moves... unless it's having its tummy tickled :p l
Aww! Your kitty sounds so cute!

And the scariest/strangest animal smaller(probably) than your foot would be:

(Sorry how big the image is)

I'd say in the spider department, the Brown Recluse Spider. They are NASTY, I tell you. And they beat out the Wolf Spider in terms of fearful visage and danger levels. Majorly in the danger levels. And they're relatively common in certain parts of the US. Deaths are rare, but possible, and their bites can often lead to amputation of hands or feet.

Army ants. They gang up on things hundreds of times bigger than them and eat them. It'd be like us swarming Godzilla and picking his bones.

Speaking of Cracked.com, this fits the subject perfectly.

As for me, I may have to go with Japanese hornets or bot flies, though. There are other things that scare me, but when the thing starts having air superiority, I start running.
I thought of this when I read the title too.

Seriously though, creatures that are common and well known, that I would likely encounter, say on holiday, would be mosquitoes.
They are dangerous as hell, and you can get serious ilnesses from them, like malaria etc.

The ebola virus.

If you require something that can actually move on its own, then spiders.
It doesn't what type of spider. They are all creepy and wrong and must die on sight.

Other than that, I'd say Crawdads/mudbugs/crayfish. However, as creepy as they are, I find them equally tastey.

Bugs, but most off all Dragonflies, i got an extreme fear of them, when i was young there were these huge ones at out cabin every summer, bigger then my head was, and the fear just stuck with me. I can handle most bugs though unless i just woke up or are trying to sleep and there they are.

Spiders, oh gods spiders.
I hate wasps/bees/etc but I don't have a full on phobia for those (although is it a phobia when they can actually do damage?)
Spiders are the most awesomest and beautiful of all creatures.

That one is just so cute and cuddlable.
Hey buddy, I'm getting a message saying that the BBC have bloked it in my country due to copyright laws...which is gay. Can you send the video in a different format so that it doesn't block it?
