That Tiger boss fight from Secret of Mana... Yeah... I freaked the first time I saw it KO my stupid AI friends simultaneously. When it wouldn't die, I got even more scared.

This isn't really a boss but the mutated Benjamin Matthias on Dead Space. When his corpse is infected and he bursts through the glass at you it freaked me out! Especially when I realised that shots to the legs wouldn't stop him sprinting at you, and after about 3 deaths I had to stasis the imbecile.
Then you realise you have to kill the Infector too.
Ongo Bongo on Ocarina of Time, in the Shadow Temple, was a bit ominous. Especially as you had to use the Lens of Truth to see him.

It's not really that he's all too difficult, just shoot off his legs and lob stasis at him and run, but it's the tension. The knowledge that he could turn up at any time, anywhere on the ship, and even once you deal with him with the Cryogenics, you still hear and see him scurrying about the ship, stalking you for the next few levels. And that's terryifying.

Damn, beat me to it! First time I versed that 'thing', I was on low life with no nearby save of anything higher. Pretty much had to finish the whole fight without getting hit if I wanted to be safe.WestMountain said:

And her tactics just freak me out, one time I figured out I could follow her trail of blood from when I shot her close up. I kept following it until it reached a point where where it stopped. I was just wondering where on earth she could have gone when a tiny drip of blood fell from the ceiling. When I looked up she just fell in front of me and gone violent. It really shook me up, I had to pause the game for a second to get my wits about me again.

The moon in Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Yeah, I know it's not really a "boss fight", but it was always nerve racking, especially since you were on a time limit, and a bell would toll every ten or so seconds, and the music that played didn't exactly help.

You're going to laugh, but I would have to say Maximo. That demon queen at the end came at you when the lights were out and all you had to gauge where she was were the flashes of lightning now and then, or just as she was about to pounce you. It's not that she was scary, it's just that it was such an OHAI moment and made me jump many times as I was only a nipper!
You know, I don't know. Not only is this crazy guys scary, he's a billion times smarter than you, looks fucking weird, and commands an army of brutes that you already had a hell of a fight with in first few floors, and all your partners are probably dead. Especially Dogmeat, since he keep running on the insta kill floor. So you are all alone, fighting a bunch of Mutants and this crazy asshole. You can always convince him to kill himself if you have the proper knowladge, but you still have to get the fuck outta there before the place goes sky high.
His attacks are mainly 2 Gatling Lasers by the way, and he can attack twice, and his Mutants respwan when you kill them.
Oh and by the way, if you don one of the Children cloaks you can bluff your way past all the mutants without having to fire a shot.
But I am a manly man and will face him head on when I meet him again. Because I know where to get Tesla Armor.
...wait Tesla Armor? What do you need that for? You did get the Power Armor, didn't you?
