The entirety of Silent Hill 2 freaks me out. Special mention here goes to 'There was a hole here. It's gone now.'

What does that even mean?!

I'm with you on this one, the clock room still gives me shivers and I still refuse to play the game on my own D:

I always say it, but Yume Nikki. Every area I've been in except for the lovely snow world disturb me to no end. Brilliant game, so good.

The Bottom of the Well and the Shadow Temple really sacred me as a kid.

-The Abyss (Endless Ocean)
-Temple of the Gods (final room) (Endless Ocean 2)
-Twin Caves (Endless Ocean 2)
-Ocean's Graveyard (Endless Ocean)
-Prison Morgue (Silent Hill 2)
-Regenerator Lab (Resi 4)

I would mention the hydro deck in System Shock 2, but rather than mess you up the shock and adrenaline forces you to push through, which works brilliantly.

Stuff like Ocean House Hotel and the Cradle I didn't find scary, but I have reasons for that.

Ditto on the Shalebridge Cradel. It took me 5 minutes to work up the courage to go inside, and the Patients....*shudder*.

The Valkyr-induced nightmare levels in Max Payne. God, that stuff was freaky. The distorted house, the blood trails. Ugh...
