Gawd I despised those things. No faster way to shit a brick than to fight these monstrosities in Dead Space 1.TRR said:What enemies terry me? Interesting, but I know what you mean.minespatch said:I'm curious what kind of enemies terry you?
Basically anything out of Dead Space. But definately the scariest for me are the Twitchers. They are easily the fastest in the game but what makes them really terrifying is how erratic their movements are. Think zombie Usain Bolt with blades for arms having a constant seizure.

But that is a shame, you missed one of the if not the best game this century ;-) Though granted, also one of the scariest. So I wont tell you it gets worse, just turn on the lights if you have to, or don´t play it alone. But its phenomenal, you should give it another try.Jason Danger Keyes said:I put down Slient Hill 2 after I saw the first leg torso monster in the hotel. I never picked it up again.
And the single most adrenaline inducing enemy in Dead Space whenever you see it..?MercurySteam said:Gawd I despised those things. While we're on the subject, the Divider scared the crap out of me in the first game:

The loud chilling groan it would let out worked well to warn me in advance of a clusterfuck in a singular, tall, gaunt form was waiting.
Shit...I didn't think I'd be ninja'd on those things. But how could anyone NOT find those things scary. All tentacles and constant screaming...darth.pixie said:Then changing to the Guardian of Dead Space.NeutralDrow said:Scary as in gross

Just look at that thing...
It wasn't 'scary' per se, there was just something so deeply wrong about that monster in particular that just disturbed me in a way I didn't know I could be disturbed. It was like an eldritch horror, something about it just didn't sit well with me.Crystalite said:But that is a shame, you missed one of the if not the best game this century ;-) Though granted, also one of the scariest.
