Well I guess I have a couple of scary nightmares.
The first one takes place when I was about 4 or 5. I had a dream that the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were in town; near my house actually. When I go outside, I see one of my uncles, he apparently helped bring the Power Rangers to the town. I go to his car, and climb in the backseat for some odd reason. He then closes the door, and climbs in the driver's seat, locks the car, and begins to drive away. I kept yelling at him that I was in the car, and for him to let me out, but he either ignored me or couldn't hear me.
Not that scary right? Well, I woke up crying, and my mom came to get me and held me. And who do I see with her asking what was wrong with me? The same uncle in my dream. Scared the crap out of me. He offered to hold me and comfort me, but I held onto my mom for dear life. I mean, what are the odds of that happening?
Another one involves being chased by the killer from the Scream movies in an endless corridor with him slowly catching up.
Others involve people breaking into our 3rd floor apartment. The first involved people coming in and slashing me up with a knife. I fall to the floor, trying to play dead, but I'm also trying very hard not to pass out. The reason for wanting to stay awake was because in the same room as me in a crib was my niece of 5 months old. The second involved people climbing into the 3rd story window(as in they somehow climbed up the building. The side they came on has no fire escape or anything), and preceed to chase me in the apartment.
But the scariest nightmare(I think) happened about half a year ago or so. Sadly, I'm one of those people who tend to get Sleep Paralysis. It would usually occur maybe once every couple of months or so, so it wasn't too big of a deal. However, this time was different. Its so scary to me, because to this day I'm still not sure if I was simply dreaming or was one of those hilusinations that can sometimes happen with Sleep Paralysis.
Anyway, I'm sleeping(again, I'm not sure) in my bed when I start hearing this voice. A deep, dark, menacing voice. I have no idea what it said to me, but I know for sure it was something bad. I kept saying to myself, "you can't do what he's asking. Thats not you" or something to that affect. Eventually, the voice says one more thing, and I immediately sit up from my bed and yell, "NO!!!!" You know how in cartoons and TV shows someone sits up in a bed straight away after a dream? I always thought that was hard to do(as in, its something that only happens on TV), but I apparently did it. I was very shaken up by it because I've never woken up from a dream like that ever. However, I just attributed it to my Sleep Paralysis since I concluded it was "That time of the month" so to speak. I waited 30 minutes or so, and went back to sleep.
This second time I'm sleeping(again, I don't know if it was the sleep paralysis or not, but for this one I'm about 80% it was), I find myself looking at my closet door, which is always located near my bed. Suddenly, I see my closet door opening; opening from someone on the inside pushing the door out. The door was also making a scary creaky noise that old doors in movies sometimes make. I wake up(or get out of the sleep paralysis), only to find my closet door open. Again, I was freaked out, and I tried desperately to remember if the closet door was closed before I fell asleep. I tried moving the door to recreate the creaking(because in all my years I never heard the door make that noise), but couldn't. I thought maybe the door just randomly swung open, but I'd never seen it do that before, and the door to my room was closed, so I didn't think it was the wind.
This time, I'm pretty much craping in my pants. I had 2 possible sleep paralysis moments in a row which never happened before, and some creepy stuff was happening. I stayed up another 2 hours, afraid to go back to sleep. When I finally did, I did so with me holding the Cross in my hands just in case. It really freaked me out.
Now the worst part is that sometimes I dream that I have a Sleep Paralysis moment. It can get pretty hard to determine what I'm dreaming and what I'm not/if I'm really having a moment or not.
So yeah, probably not as freaky as some other peoples dreams, but thats all I got.
