Scary Bug pictures

Wow! I think I saw one of these when I was little! There was a spider and I stepped on it, and thousands of babies scattered away. I always thought it was pregnant or something, or that they were eating it alive. It was one of the most awesome and creepy things I'd ever seen. I've never seen it again, this has to be the same thing.silentsentinel said:

A spider that eats birds is scary, a spider that can be picky about which birds it eats......

they will eat anything, but the only thing they will actively go for is coconuts.

yes, he did infact. he was going to eat it.
it ALMOST got his middle too, but by then he had his hand on the nearby hatchet.
that was a horrible experience...an army of masquitos...then a friend loses a finger? unpleasant let me tell you.
I've got to admit a lot of those bugs provoke the "kill it with fire response" but i won't have any problem sleeping.

I'm also not too fond of centipedes, especially house centipedes (I swear H.P. Lovecraft must have designed those fucking things), or most spiders (Except tarantulas, oddly enough. I still wouldn't want to touch one because of the fangs and all, but a tarantula wouldn't elicit the same irrational "oh, fuck, it's near me!" response that the smaller ones would). I'm fine with most other bugs though, like the giant pil bug from the first post, or millipedes.
