My name comes from a long time ago, when me and some friends were lanned up playing CS, and one of us took the name "The Friar." So then we all started taking names of members of the Clergy. I chose The Reverend.
And my avatar is the TISM bunny with wtf in red letters across his face. I got bored and made it one day.

Fujin is a psudo-antagonist from Final Fantasy VIII. For most of the game, she seems to have some sort of speech impediment and is only able to speak in monosyllabic sentences, but towards the very end it is discovered that this is due to her lack of respect of the Heroes, not any actual problems.

Having a speech problem in real life (I'm mute) I somewhat instantly bonded with Fujin... but thanks to that insufferable Mortal Kombat, simple "Fujin" is ALWAYS taken... so I made up a last name for her to set me apart. I think it came from the first Final Fantasy Movie, where the scientist's name was Akari Ross.

I don't think that's the singular problem. Fujin&Rajin, the god brothers of Wind and Lightning are of ancient shinto mythology, and as such used eeeeeeverywhere. Mortal Kombat and FF8 are just 2 of thousands of places they have in popular culture.

Incidently FF8 is my favorite FF-game : ) Fujin's one-word lines aren't as strange in original japanese as they are translated. Basically she could be seen as extremely short and unceremonial in the japanese. The translation really made her an more interesting character. Sometimes problems become solutions ^^

I've used a a few tags over the years, but due to some misunderstanding's, and the public's apparent lack of knowledge in acronyms, I've recently copped to Thunderhorse.
It's from the cartoon, Metalocalypse, and it also appeared on GH2. When it first popped in my head, I liked how it sounded, and after I could link to three of my favorite past times, music, videogames and television, it pretty much sold itself.

Haliwali is a corruption of Wallibee, one of my original screennames. My FIRST name was syntek1001001100, on battle.net. Yea, I really wanted the name.

My pic is just one of the Warriors of Chaos that I painted. Prolly gonna change that soon...

Geoffrey42 is pretty straightforward. I'm proud of my uncommonly spelled middle name (at least in the States), and whenever Geoffrey is already taken, I add a 42. And when that's not available, I add something else.

Now, my dear, dear Flossy the avatar. Whether or not people remember it, Space Station Silicon Valley was a game that came out for the N64 where you were a robot, reduced to a microchip, whose only means of survival was inhabiting the robotic bodies of the other mechanical creatures on board (Rocket-firing wheeled dogs, floating sheep, remote control style rats, etc, etc). It was a great game, but also one I followed from early development all the way to release. Polished, it was not. But the game itself was great.

Flossy, as it turns out, is a piece of art produced by the makers of the game, with one of the standard in-game sheep, all dolled up. Ever since I found her, she's been my avatar far and wide.

Tiredinnuendo has been my name on just about everything for over a decade now. It used to just be Innuendo, but when I got a Comcast email address, I had to set it up as (something).(something)@comcast.com, and I picked tired because at the time I was setting it up, it was 3 AM.

The avatar is something I threw up while we were talking in the worst games ever thread and we started talking about Custer's Revenge. I usually try to change my avatars about once a month or so, and I have a stock pool that I usually draw them from.

One of my favorite albums. I haven't seen much of the show as I can't find a good place on the net to watch it. But the music is awesome. Dethklok rule lol

My name: Supposed to be Surgical_Scar, but a typo screwed that up royally. Is there any way to have it changed?

Pic: A little something from an artist I like.

Much love goes to silicon valley, that was an awesome game. Rat poo bombs, boxing kangaroo's, and some pretty funny dialog too. Everyone should play this game!

Avatar is Tatepon, one of the shield guardians from Patapon. Why? I like the game I guess. Plus it was easy to crop the picture. I might do a Yaripon later, but for now I will keep you in suspense.

General Ma Chao is the guy from Dynasty Warriors with dragon armor. I've read about the actual man and thought he was pretty cool. My avatar is Cyan Garamonde from Final Fantasy 6, my favorite FF character from my favorite FF game.

I created this username for another forum, as my real name (Steve) was taken. I wanted to use a pseudonym that would be distinctive, which flashed me back to my brother sending away to one of those educational catalog companies under the nickname "Stuart Pid" just to see what junkmail "Stu Pid" would get in addition to his offer of a correspondance course in firearm repair. I realised that "Sue D. Nym" kinda worked as a valid name but the whole gender-bender issue was one I didn't want to tackle, so I went with "antonym" instead with the "P." middle initial as a nod to its "pseudo" origins.

The avatar is the emblem for the UESC Marathon, from Bungie's 1990's game of the same name and which I've (ab)used before.

I always liked Gremlin, but it was always taken. So I decided to make a new callsign by sticking a verb in front of it. Singing popped into my mind as suitably unexpected and humourous, and Singing Gremlin sounded good, so I went with it.

As for the pic, I like fire and orks. It was the best option. I shouldn't have to tell you where it comes from.

My username can be divided into 2 parts: xkiller and p7.

"xkiller" - I made a flash game called Xenomorfos Killer, and a sequel called Xenomorfos Killer 2. You can find them at newgrounds.com. This game is very important to me, I even got myself a good job partly because of it.

"p7" - My surname is Pessette (italian origin), and in portuguese you spell it like you're spelling the letter P and the number 7. "P" is spelled Pê and 7 is "sete" in portuguese, wich forms "Pê-sete", that sounds exactly like my surname.

Somewhat humorously... people regularly mispell my name "FukinAtari"

Did you know: that Tate means shield? ;)

So what about the name?

As for you Steve, I'd give you a nod of warm approval for the origins of your name. Only you signature your posts, so I can't : (
