...I don't have this problem. Why do you click outside of boxes when you scroll?

I'm wondering why I see it. I didn't think Pub club members saw those ads.

That's why I just click the mouse wheel and move it my mouse up and down to scroll.

Yeah, I do the same thing. I also don't understand why, as a Pub Club member who is not supposed to see ads, I am seeing them. Sure, they're advertisements for content on this very site, but the key word there is still "advertisements" which is something I'm not supposed to be seeing.

Furthermore, that color that you get after you scroll past the images is butt ugly.

As I said, when you get side scroll boxes (such as posting a new message), if you want to scroll the main page itself you have to click the main page.
So if I want to quote multiple people it means I hit quote, type, click the main page to scroll again, hit quote, type, click the main page again to scroll...

And these goddamn sidepanels are annoying as all hell.

It's not an advertisement, it's a promotion.
Har har har.

I don't think I've had to click on the side bar to scroll down since I was a wee lad playing flash games on my windows 98 back when I was using dial up. Just use the mouse wheel and If you don't have one, then fuck I don't know how anyone who owns a computer not have a mouse with a wheel. I only own one computer and I have 5 extra mice just laying around the house. Want me to send you one? Not sure if there all usb though!

The english is failing so hard in this thread. Seriously, I have no clue what the hell is trying to be said. Use some common terms people can understand.

The only way this would make any sense to me is if a touchscreen was being used on an iPad and you had to grab the screen by pressing on it which also happened to click the link, but I don't think it even works like that if you move your finger before letting up.

I'm just jarred by the new red background, I've been so used to the darkish blue background that it's really weird.

I don't mind it. I seem to only care about content that I'm looking at. Anything else is just not there.

Yea they were kinda annoying, not any more now. Adblock to the rescue.
Admitting you use ad blocker can get you into trouble you know.

I didn't notice it until yall pointed it out.
Just narrow your browser window until it gets out of the way of your mouse on the right side.

Still, its a link to an escapist-related matter; the general idea behind pub-club people seeing these is that they don't want to make pub clubbies miss out on community what-nots because of their special membership.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets tripped up by that. Cracked.com sometimes does the same thing.

Yeah, it's kind of an annoyance, but whaddaya gonna do?

To make sure the page itself actually scrolls, just in case the cursor is off doing its own thing (in a text entry box, window is deselected, etc.). I have the same habit.

Yay for the mouse wheel! ^_^ Even though I've accidentally clicked on it once or twice out of habit ;>_> Just gonna have to live with it I suppose.

Worst side panels are the ones that start a video when you move your mouse over them AND DONT STOP AFTER YOU MOVED THE MOUSE AWAY. I'm looking at you gametrailers.com and your Jersey Shore video panels. You get really tired of hearing Snookie explain why the water in the ocean is salty... NO, its NOT because of the whale sperm you dumb female dog... NO SHUT UP, what the hell is t-shirt time you orange idiot?
