You shoulda quit out of a loosing situation and just searched for a new game.
Bungie punishes you for quitting, haven't you heard?
So what. Instances where it's you vs a whole team aren't going to happen a lot. Again, why waste you time playing a match that isn't fun in the least just to avoid some very slight punishment?

I may be just fueled on rage to do this, but I'd like your opinions on this as well.
Okay, I do think that the system is a bit unbalenced, citing your example as the main case. They really should have some sort of auto balance.

<spoiler=But by far, the most fun I had in Reach>Open up forge, and make a huge closed in cube, with raised tunnels on each side. Put a small room at the end of each tunnel, and fill it with Mongooses and Ghosts, plus a few others, if you want. I usually have 1 tunnel on each side, but you can have more if you want. Then put a initial spawn point, and a respawn point in each room. Then start up Juggernaut. Everyone selects a vehicle, and drives down into the center of the room, except for the juggernaut, who can't drive. Then the shenanigans begin. Seriously, just try this. You need to make sure that the floor is flat, and I used a grid to make sure it was an appropriate size, 5X5 floor blocks, Colluseum blocks for the walls, the same method for the floor for the roof, and just build the raised tunnels out of whatever you want. Seriously, this is a lot of fun, I would most definately recommend it. Any problems, or questions, just PM me.

I don't play online or anything, but why don't they have a surrender option when there is one person left where the last person can surrender and not be punished as a quitter? It makes sense. Maybe that's the problem.

Unfortunately they happen more often than I'd like. I think it was result of the quick to ragequit COD players coming over to reach.

I've gone back to COD myself, Halo multi just isn't for me. It's fun, but I prefer things a bit more fast paced.

After spending so much time playing MW2, I was thrown off when I started playing Halo: Reach. I forgot that once the match starts, new players won't join when spots become available. Which is ridiculously frustrating because quite a few players quit the game because they didn't get the type they voted for.

So, you're left in an unfair match, and unless you want to struggle through it, possibly with the short end of the stick, you have to quit. Then you get punished. On top of that, if you decide to stick it out, and a lot of players quit, the match will take longer to finish because there's less people to kill.

It seems you get punished no matter what, even if it's not always drastic, it's frustrating.

People are jerks. Similar thing happened to me too, though my friend was with me, on Boneyard. Instead of being nice, the enemy team camped our spawn point. We fought well I guess, eventually escaped too, but really, thats just not cool.

Something similar happened to me, except the team I was facing was rubbish and I managed to win an invasion gametype on my own... Anyway, the system is just their to stop people from quitting over and over again. Still doesn't seem to stop people though...

I care to much about stats. When I get it in myslef that stats are worth shit I enjoy whatever I'm into because I can do whatever I like.

being changing server
only using pistols
etc

Doesn't matter what game.
