yesterday, I asked what films should be made into games, today I ask what secondary characters (they can be from anything!) should have their own games my vote goes for the merchant of resident evil 4

Why the merchant? Just curious, I doubt it would be a very interesting game. Go to a supplier than stand around waiting for a costumer?

I think Jack from ME2 would be good, from birth to being locked up when you meet her in ME2.

I think it would be an interesting story, developing her powers etc.

re4: merchant edition one part buisness sim, one part action horror with all weapons availeble from the start. tell me that doesn't sound awesome

maybe not re4 spinoff, but yes that sounds as solid a design as possible.

yea it would.

though really having a number higher than four on the end is bad, so if they called it "Devil May Cry 5" instead of say "devil may cry: tale of vergil" i would cry name fail.

I know it's a bit off topic, but there should be a secondary character who, every time you see them, is wearing a different hat, like, completely different hats, even in cutscenes it'd go:

"Hello" (wearing cowboy hat)
"Hi"
"How are you?" (wearing WW2 helmet)
"Good, but the zombies are coming through the gates"
"Oh dear" (wearing a minature version of himself)
etc
