Epic post for an epic thread alert:
I've never played through a final fantasy game yet wasted my time on multiple pokemon games, not to mention hacked the crap out of those games once boredom set in and started selling things like rare shiny mews for example.
I fail to see how the newer mario games with their often preschool like character vocabulary are so popular.
I have pulled off the 'Diago' parry but now barely play fighting games and think mvc2 was nothing but a broken fanboy fest
I mastered Fatal Fury 1 before I even touched street fighter
unless you?ve played a game more then me, chances are I would be 'that guy' in a gaming party.
I still have my friends copy of shaqfu somewhere, completed it with all characters and even found glitches
I never played a zelda game until the wii came out. I've finished twilight princess but even now I don't fully see what the big deal with ocarina of time is.
I tried playing the first metroid and it bored me to death
I despise lag and consider it the reason for most of my losses online
I find anyone who uses the term ?e-sport? in a serious sense laughable
I took part in a final fantasy online bet to see which mithra could get the most free stuff in terms of ingame currency value. I came 3rd out of 4 people (the winner doing so because he married his victim!) as well as partied in a team of nothing but Mithras. I acted more respectfully then normal since I assembled since I was the last person joining they were girl friends who knew each other, only for them to later confess all but one of them were men! Since then I have the belief that items in rpgs = power not skill and girl characters in rpgs (real or not as long as they?re willing to use their charms) have it easy.
I've barely played halo and the appeal to me seems to be it can do all the things PC shooters have been able to do for years already!
Face hugger encounters in games turn me to a suicide bomber, should I happen to be carrying something explosive in my hand at the time.
I'm one of the few people to play through batman forever on the genesis and the broken as hell arcade version *cringes*
I think the DOA games are 90% fanservice and 10% gameplay
I think fighting games played with joysticks makes you look stupid, the industry switched to pads for a reason!
I was furious on metal gear solid 2 the first time vamp kills you know who, then so confused by the last boss I didn?t even know if I was supposed to kill him or bide more time for snake to show up
I have cried laughing at a drunken friend being chased by a Pyro Monkey in TimeSplitters 2
I originally played through Parodius 1 and 2 oblivious to all the sexual innuendos
I did a count of how many games I?ve played out of curiosity, so far the count is just over 300
