Terry Eason and The Hopefuls are two artists I like that it seems only I have heard of. Some others that I like, and are certainly better known, but are still unfamiliar to most or all of my friends, include Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Ben Kweller, Paolo Nutini, The Hold Steady, and I saw the Derek Trucks Band mentioned, but I shall count them too.

Fear Factory, I was gutted when they pulled out of Sonisphere last year, and now no one wants to go with me this year.

Electric Six.

You know, the "Gay Bar" guys?

This is one of my all time favorite bands.

And this is coming from a died-in-the-wool metalhead.

Well, Streetlight aren't that well known in the UK at least, but they seem to have a good fanbase here on the Escapist.

Bullets And Octane really aren't that well known over here, but I'm fairly sure they're bigger in the States. They're so damn good, sort of halfway between rock and punk.

Electric Six are absolutely bloody brilliant!

As for mine, it has to be Finch. I never hear them mentioned, and as of yet, I have not met a single person who has heard of them. It makes me a sad panda, seeing as Finch are my favourite band, and have been since I needed change for the bus, and only had a £20. So I decided to buy a random CD, and I saw a Finch album in HMV for something like £8 and grabbed it. <3

I HAVE! digital sea is their best song IMO

mine would have to be three days grace, and you will know us by the trail of dead, massive attack, from first to last, poets of the fall, skillet and filter

please note that these are virtually unheard of where i live.. not the world over.

Fintroll. Finnish folk metal. Don't listen to it that much but always very fun, even if you can't understand the text (like me)
Finntroll are hardly unheard of.And i can understand some of their lyrics.

HORSE The Band (extreme and weird)

I would have taken that so much more seriously if the singer din´t have a porno-stache.
