Admech would be good.
It would please the dark gods that reside in GW headquarters too as the army is a recent release.

I think the game could tolerate a unit at the 'Knight' scale at the utmost, but beyond that I'm not sure if it'd gel properly with the more detailed control of the smaller units.
I'd still like to see an rts game that dealt with titans and the epic scale one day, but as the focus rather than the top of the tech tree.

It'd be nice to see the Tau return too.
There's got to be orks though.
I can't imagine a game of DoW without the green skinned cockneys waaaaghing it up around the map in big red killwagonz.

Maybe retire the eldar to an expansion for once, let the Tau take their place as the 'vaguely not evil but still morally dubious xeno' entry for the base game.

I agree with the call to diversify chaos.
Maybe through commander choice, four of them and each representing an god that has a knock on effect on the 'marine' designated troops?
Pick nurgle, markings match on marine units and upgrades theme to resilience with a final plaguemarine upgrade available.
Etc for each of the gods.

Though, as xpwn says it might be worth just following chaos undivided.
Hopefully making chaos into an army with traitor guard aswell as marines.

I would like to see the guard in the base game too, but I have a feeling it's already getting a little crowded as there's no doubt we'll have to make room for the Raven Guard.
Wouldn't be DoW without them.

Just checking, is Relic actually known to be doing anything at the moment?

If not, then we can hope.

I'll just ask for what I've asked for in past titles:

Pause and Command feature. Which they used to have, before they decided to patch that out when they removed GFWL.

I don't play RTSs competitively, so I don't care about competitive balance. When I read about Dawn of War 2, I was incredibly intrigued by the dynamic persistent campaign action RPG structure it had, but I'm put off by the real time strategy gameplay since I'm just not good at that kind of game. Consequently, I passed on those titles.
